Is anyone able to provide feedback on how this antenna works in a mountainous region 40 miles from transmitters?

Do you need a pre amplifier with this antenna?

Is this a multi-directional antenna or will I have to go adjust the angle on it if I want to pick up channels from 360 degrees around me?

Stations are NE and SE of me. Don't want to mess with a rotator. Could I mount two in an attic, 1 each facing NE and SE and combine signal?
