Exactly as advertised.
This is a great cat tower, and one of the few that still come with a ladder. I selected this product primarily based upon the fact that it has ladders. My cat is an acrobat, loves to flip around and hang upside down. The ladders are her favorite part of the tower. She leaps up them and down them, slides and twists in between the rungs. The only reason I gave it a rating of 4 is I wish the hammock area was a solid platform instead. My feisty feline likes to slide upside down through the ladder rings and drop to the surface below. Her previous tower had a solid landing space rather than the hammock. The hammock doesn’t give a solid landing space.

Cats favorite hang out!
My 2 cats adore this! They are larger cats and both still find a way to sleep on this thing at the same time. It was easy to put together and looks great! Highly recommended!

Cat approved!
Bought this for a multi-cat household and is great. The cats love climbing on it and our kitten especially love the hammock. It was easy to assemble. However, disregard the part about starting from the top up. It is a little silly and the bottom posts have to be angled a certain way. This is easier to accomplish when started at the bottom and just putting them in the hole. The instructions are also very minimal and in German. No tools are required for assembly. My two main complaints with it are not too major in the grand scheme of things. First, because of the way it is assembled, the platform and hammock on the side rotate and do not stay and place. When the cats are running around and jumping like crazy, they get turned all around. My other complaint is the cube. In the pictures it appears to be it's own structure that requires no assembly. It consists of a top platform and a bottom platform with posts on the sides that make i smaller than i appears. The sides are just a pull over that did not have a hole to allow for the screw connect to the top post. This was easily amended with scissors.Despite the cube being as small as it is, my determined 12.5 lbs cat made himself fit in there as he loves such things, so it is possible for a cat larger than a kitten to squeeze in if they care enough. When the cats are playing, they jump on and off this with a lot of force. It wobbles when they do, but does not tip. It does not wobble when they are just casually jumping on it to relax though.EDIT: After owning this product for almost a year now, it for the most part has held up. However, the side with the shelf and hammock occasionally comes loose. The only way to correct it is to take that side apart and reassemble it. It is kind of annoying but nothing serious. The cats still love it and, even when it gets wobbly, have not knocked it over.

Great deal on an excellent product
We recently found and adopted an elderly cat that loves to climb so we wanted to get her a cat tree so she has lots of places to hang out. Found this one and saw a used-like new as an option and took a chance on the great deal. It was an excellent decision because it was in great shape, went together with no problems and our new cat loves it! The cubby hole area is a bit small if you have larger cats. Ours is quite small so this works just fine for her.Update: Miss Kitty is LOVINGLY her cat tree. She's gained weight as well now that she has a home and steady meals and the tree is standing as strong as ever. She loves the hammock most of all - uses it daily to sleep or look out the window! I have seen some negative reviews but I have found it to be very sturdy for cats up to 10 lbs.Update #2: We have since taken in another cat - a lean, but bigger and younger boy and I found that this particular tree doesn't work quite as well for him as it does for the smaller girl. He's much more active, even with only 3 legs, and he weighs around 10 lbs. Since he likes to squeeze himself into small spaces and boxes, the size of the nest isn't really a problem (though it is a tight squeeze), it's more that the next doesn't hold his weight as well when he jumps up and down out of it and it would pull down and eventually loosened and I had to go through and tighten everything back up and put it back in the room with only Miss Kitty. I ended up picking up a very sturdy 3 nest tree from Overstock that was very similar to the one piece carpeted sturdy trees I found at Petsmart and Petco. The only piece I had to add was to screw in the top nest on top of the highest pole it is very strong and working perfectly for him. So I would say the usefulness of this product (at least for me) is limited to our smaller, older cat. Also, neither of them have been willing to use the cubby hole. I'm not changing the rating because this was purchased for a smaller, older cat and she loves it, but I wanted to update for those with larger more active or multi cat households.

Molto soddisfatta.
Ottimo prodotto. Venditore top!

Fast delivery, decent product
Very fast delivery! This is a nice, fairly sturdy, reasonable sized cat tree for one or two cats maximum. It may be too small for large cats like Bengals or Maine Coons (I had a Bengal cat), but it’s a good size for the average cat.The wave top makes it a nice addition to the living room as it breaks up the silhouette, so it looks nice, but doesn’t dominate the room. My only complaint with this product is that the entire wave top is a (sisal?) scratching mesh, which is nice in theory and actually why I chose it, but it’s really rough on cat paws so my Burmese cat jumped up on it once, winced, and hasn’t tried to jump on it since. My suggestion to improve that issue would be to either narrow the mesh strip all around so the carpeted edges are thicker and can be walked on, or wrap both ends in just the carpeting so the cat has somewhere soft to jump up on and perch (my cat loves to perch). I have tried to make it more ‘perch-able’ by putting the pads it came with at either end and stuffing the cubby with cat blankets. No luck yet, as my cat is still pretending the new scratching post doesn’t exist, but it has only been a couple of days since it was assembled so I’m still waiting to see if he’ll take to it.

Lots of scratching room.
Purchased for my 7 month old kitty. She loves to sleep on the open pad, and now that she is getting bigger, (7lbs) you start to notice a bit of a wobble when your cat enters the top hut.Otherwise, it is a pretty sturdy structure, it does feel solid, and she doesn't show any nervous tendencies when she prances on it and it wobbles a bit. I would recommend propping it close to a wall. Also really enjoy that all the columns are wrapped in rope. At first it can be a bit of a pain to get your cats scratching tendencies to focus on the posts, but add a bit of catnip to entice their attention. Since the posts are not wrapped in carpet, you don't get a bunch of bits and later on bald spots from your critter peeling away the material. Also! This tree is great for smaller spaces, I live in an apartment and was worried about something being too cumbersome, this is just right.

Good quality, delivery box made our son's day
Most of the scratching posts in pet stores seem to be made from 2x4s and strangely coloured shag carpet offcuts. We want to welcome a cat into our lives without turning our home into one of those places that screams "crazy cat people" the instant the front door opens. This thing seems to go a long way towards achieving that goal. It's sturdy, it's functional, and yes it looks like cat furniture, but it's not hideous. It came with minimal instructions, but it also wasn't rocket surgery to put it together. They included the right number of bolts and washers, and left us with another allen key for our ever-growing collection, so that's a nice bonus. Our young son liked the kitty footprint design, played in the delivery box for over an hour, and then cried when I said I wanted to recycle it so even though we haven't got our cat yet, I'd say this product is well worth the money.

Toller Kratzbaum !
