This review is of the tinted pear-shaped version, which I bought as a replacement for a Bell 60W 'squirrel cage' tungsten bulb in a porch light fitting. The up sides: Energy saving: 60W down to 7W! Easy pairing with eWeLink app. Amazingly variable brightness and colour tone via app, to just the levels that produce a nice light in the fitting. Totally controllable: I've set app to switch on at sunset, off at fixed time late evening - but easy to override settings via app if required. All being well, it should last much much longer than tungsten bulbs. Only one down side: E27 cap needed adapter for bayonet fitting (= 4 stars for installation rather than 5), but that's a minimal expense. All in all an excellent buy.

I have numerous sonoff switches and also the older led bulb from sonoff. All work well. Paired this filament bulb with my wi-fi and it worked fine. However, as soon as the switch on the wall is turned off and back on it loses wi-fi connection and has to be set up again. Tried re connecting to my wi-fi and also turning wi-fi on and off. Each time, it connects to my WiFi until the switch is turned off and on.I'm actually thinking of keeping it as I've set the brightness I want and it keeps that brightness level every time i turn it on. Clearly I can't adjust it and can't turn it off or on via my phone or Alexa.Real shame as it's a nice light and I really wanted it to work.

I have other sonoff products which were detectable no problems. This bulb was not broadcasting its own WiFi network so was undiscoverable by my home WiFi. Returned for refund and going for philips hue. Would dearly love to find a reliable alternative to these pricey bulbs but so far have yet to find anything that pairs and works as reliably as them.

I bought this to get a very low wattage warm glow light with the app you get this. But when you want it bright you can have that as well plus you can chance to a white light. So all round great bulb for the price.I did have to switch 5g off in my router to get the bulb to sync with the app.

I'm returning this to Amazon after I have had to repair the bulb twice. It resets randomly after being switched on from the wall. I haven't got time to mess with a lightbulb every few days.

I purchased this for a light fitting over my dining table and it works brilliantly. Easy set up and works with my alexa and phone app. Great control of brightness and soft light. Highly recommend.

This is the only smart device that I have that will not connect to the app. No matter how hard I've tried, nothing will recognise the bulb!!!

Initially difficult to pair had about 5 days and sky offered us upgraded router. Everything else paired without a hitch but this bulb would not pair . After a 2 hour session of trying different way returned bulb for refund . It is one of the few filament led smart bulbs on market but may need more sorting out .Very disappointed as it was what we wanted .
