About the sizing
As others have mentioned, this is a quality product, but the sizing is weird. As the waist size goes up, they also increase the inseam! So I ordered my standard size, and it was way too long. I ended up having to order a short length directly from the manufacturer (they have short, regular, and long). I'm a 5'10" guy, so that's the first time in my life I've ever ordered anything short. I suppose if you're in a small or medium, or maybe a large, then the inseam might work.

Hands down best outdoor pants I have owned. Large size, 5'10" 185lbs - Buying second pair.
Fit is amazing, but your knees when stepping up do not get constricted. This is great for trail, bushwacking, or climbing. The leg cuffs have built-in clips to act like gaiters. With a climbing harness on your pockets are in an ideal spot so you can store and access your phone without worrying about getting tangled up. I was a bit new to this type of belt, but it worked flawlessly with the zippers and buttons. 5/5 stars and I am buying my second pair.-The real highlight is how well fit and stretchy the material is = zero constriction stepping or climbing.

Very baggy
Sizing is quite a bit off on this item - the medium was way too large, and that is why I usually wear. I returned the item and got a small, let's see if it fits better. It's a good piece of gear otherwise, numerous pockets, good build, a bit heavy perhaps for a softshell but not too bad.

Great Pants
Tested pants in cold, wet, with and without tights and it works great. Will be using on first mountain climb soon. Great for hiking also. Runs a bit long as I am only 5'7", but not so long that they drag on the ground.

OR Pants - can’t be beat!
These are a great pair of pants for my outdoor recreation activities. All seasons - especially winter - are now satisfied. I’m a loyalist for the quality, durability and reliability of Outdoor Research products and have never impressed me anyway other than fully satisfied.

Who made the sizing on these??
I wanted to like these pants. I really wanted to love them. They are beautiful pants. However, the sizing is so off with these. I'm 5'10" 190 lbs. 34-36 waist pants fit me perfectly with a 32 inseam. These pants are so baggy in the legs! I can put both of my legs in one pant leg. And the cuff at the bottom? It's HUGE! Not even loosened, the pants drag under my feet. No way would I ever wear these hiking or snowshoeing. They'd get torn to shreds in no time. Way to drop the ball on this design OR! Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the pants look so nice.

Fit is not even close to original Cirque pants
Had a pair of the original OR Cirque pants. Loved them. They finally wore out and I was on the hunt for replacement. Obviously the Product Management folks and/or cost reduction folks at OR have been busy since they replaced the Cirque pants with the Cirque II version which was a classic "if it ain't broke don't fix it" scenario. They eliminated the rear pocket (where I always carry my knife) which was very irritating. However I loved the pants so I decided to live with it. However during the new and improving process they changed the sizing dramatically. I ordered Large like my original pair and they came in HUGE and baggy. I returned and purchased the Medium which were much too small. I am 5'8" and 180 pounds. So now these are going back. Hopefully I can locate an original pair but everywhere I check the prices have been raised to the point of ridiculous so I am probably going to have to go out and find a new manufacturer. Too bad Outdoor Research couldn't leave a good thing alone.

Not for me
I cancelled immediately, but it was shipped anyway. Pants are really long. They charge for return shipping.
