It is perfect for my family! Large enough to empty twice a week! The lid keeps the banana peel smell in the can instead of in the house! Love, love, love this trash can!

It looks nice, the material looks strong. It is rather big because of the rounded shape, in spite of the eleven inches in the sides. I find the cover made with a different material it is shiny while the rest of the can is brushed and it seems it does not close correctly. Something that it belongs to another trash can. Although these comments seems to be negative they are not. The material in the cover does not get dirty with fingerprints at all. It shines all the time and if you need to clean it , it come out perfectly well and it is always shiny. The mechanism of the cover closing and standing straight if you need that is perfect. The combination of brushing and shining looks good. Since I bought it, not long time ago , it has been working for me. As far as the cover it is not a big issue because it does not keep open at all. It just close a little different. For a big family or people who discard a lot of trash is perfect.

This is exactly what I needed. Keeps the trash in place, it's made so great that we never smell any trash. It's worth every penny. I received it a few days ahead of the schedule date.

It is not smudge proof but definitely easy to wipe off any smudges! So far so good with the trash can! Looks great!
