I’m starting out with 4 stars on this product, Because the fit for my Altima was a bit tight to get it down really far on the windshield close to the dash at the bottom of the windshield. So I had to bring it up about 2 inches so it would fit end to end cross wise and yet not over extend the shades length when pulled up. I’m glad it has the plastic ring catches on the rod cause the rods get super hot in the SE Tennessee sun, least it gives me something to grab on to pull. It’s a nice concept for a sun shade but I feel it may have a slight imperfection. The recoil springs don’t quite feel strong enough that it would last for very much longer, as already they don’t recoil the shade all the way back in every time. I’ve had them in use for about a month. I have to pull it up again and let it recoil in so that it will go all the way back in. I will certainly update after a few more months use. Overall I really like the convenience of just reaching down and pulling them up to the hook. No struggling with trying to get them out and put in place and then putting them away as you would do with other sun shades. I can say my car is about 50 degrees cooler using these shades vs not using any. My steering wheel would be so hot you couldn’t hold it on the top at all, but now I can drive immediately without scorching my hands. I really do like them I just hope they’ll last to make it worth the 45.00 I spent.Update July 2019 updating to 5 stars!!Theses sun shades have made it through my trial period! They work like they did from day one. I’m really pleased with how well they work and how convenient they are to use! Still have to recoil them sometimes as they don’t always go back in all the way. But I’d trade that little problem any day for how well they protect and keep my car cooler while it’s parked in the direct sun for a 9 to 10 hour work day.

I love my sunshades!They are easy to install and quite durable. My car got totaled earlier this year and they survived! The only thing was I needed to get replacement pieces to stick onto the window of my new car because the originals were hard to remove (which is the point, they never fell down!). It was still under warranty so I emailed the company and they were extremely helpful and communicative - Mailed me the replacement parts quickly via USPS.The only “drawback” if compared to classic silver accordion style sunshades out there is that I believe those do keep the interior of your car slightly cooler than these, but these do still keep it cooler than no shade at all!Plus, I much prefer the ease of rolling these down/up VS the extra time it takes having to unfold an accordion shade to put those up.Overall, I would definitely recommend buying these.

It is very pricey item. It does not cover completely. I have given my car model still i got small one.the only thing i like its easy to use.It is not worth. It stopped working after few uses. when it was working also it does not protect from much heat. Do NOT buy.

I've had these on my Honda Accord for years now, and they are great! People even comment on how easy they are to use. Pull up, unhook and release—no fuss, no bother. Easy to use, and they stay OUT OF THE WAY. I've tried other products, particularly the wire-framed "twist to collapse" type that end up thrown over your shoulder into the back seat because they're too obnoxious to store properly without a struggle. These take the concept to a new level. FAR BETTER, in my humble opinion, than any of the other shades out there. Take it from me, they are worth the few dollars more in terms of ease of use and lack of irritation when you're driving. Yes, you can see them on the dash where the windshield meets the car, but there's no "fighting" with them. THEY JUST WORK.

In theory, these are great, but unfortunately these do not work as advertised. They installed okay, other than one of the hooks not staying stuck to the window (fixed with superglue), and when extended out and latched, they work well and are super convenient. However, they do not retract fully back into the holders, so ended up folded in a pile on the dashboard when not in use. No matter how little or much I pulled them out, positioned or stretched the shade, etc, they would not retract back properly. I finally had to throw them away as it was a hazard to have the sunshade fabric pushed up on the dash. Disappointing purchase, especially for the price.

The product is NOT like in the picture. It’s two separate ones. The do block the heat nicely even though you don’t get as much coverage. I like that it’s definitely easy to pull up and hook to place it. However it makes the windshield look busy. Does the work, but not what I expected as a product. Did not worth to me the extra you pay for shipping cost since is not free delivery with Prime.
