First comment out of the wife's mouth was "that is a really cool looking 3d effect". I think she'll let me keep this. On top of a beautiful finish is the perfect color - stone-washed green (if that isn't what this is called then someone can correct me but the color is a favorite of mine). In summary this hat was exactly what I wanted. Thank-you for delivering.

I had serious doubts that this cap would met my expectations, i.e. fit my large head and look attractive. Here is what I found:1) The cap is more than large enough;2) The design is subtle, i.e. not overbearing; and3) The material (100% weathered cotton vs. cheap plastic/polyester) and workmanship are excellent. Final verdict is that this is an unusually attractive ("salty"), reasonably priced, hard-to- find, classic style cap that you will be pleased to wear almost anywhere. A very nice reminder of my time at sea.

Buying good looking, well fitting, quality hats in kind of hit and miss on amazon. This hat nailed it for me. Looks good and seems to be well made. Most important, it sits the way I like a hat to fit. It is not too tall (like a truckers hat) or too low (sitting right on the top of your head). The bill is about right in length with a slight bow. I wish all my hats fit the same. Very pleased.

Ok so I almost didn't order this hat because it had a velcro closure. But it had such great reviews, I decided to get it anyway. Listen, this hat is great. Very high quality, and unlike most velcro closure, it actually fits without that weird bunched up look in the back for smaller heads. Great job. I wish everyone made velcro closures like this. Really great hat. Very pleased. :-)

This is well made and nice color for a USN cover/hat. I have blue hats but enjoy something different with the tone on tone insignia.

I'm a US Navy vet and I feel good about wearing this hat to show my Navy pride. The hat is well made of good material and I can see it lasting a long time.

Beautiful embroidery, good fit. Looks Sharp. Loved it so much I just ordered another one.
