So with a pair or tweezers and the old key fob for reference you can easily replace your damaged/beat up key fob to look like brand new. The replacement comes with a new battery sleeve and new manual key. If you are like me, I didn’t use. I used the old battery compartment and also replaced the key portion with the original key. I did this for two reasons. 1st- to avoid going somewhere to get a new key made (why would I need to the key still functions and is reallly not seen) 2nd- the original key has the original Audi logo the replacement does not. To remove the guts from the original just use tweezers and carefully remove. There is a white piece of plastic that sits on the board that came out. I was unsure how it went back in so I grabbed my second key fob and use that for reference. The entire process took less than 5 mins. Hope this helps.
