These are good quality bags. They seem durable. They are great for reducing plastic waste. I try to minimize how much plastic comes in contact with my food so this serves the purpose. I also would like to use them to help me harvest vegetables this fall.

Perfect size, well made, easy to throw in shopping bag.

I used to have a set of bags that I bought at the farmer's market, and when they slowly disappeared I got these. They're great for a few reasons:They fold up nice and small so I can fit them in the pocket of the messenger bag I carry for groceries. They're "holey" enough to see through easily and identify the produce. The tare weight is right on the tag. I don't actually worry about the tare weight because these are so light, but it's there if you need it.I've been using these for a few grocery runs and no one has complained that it's difficult to get to the product code or anything like that.I just keep them in my bag and they're always read to go.

I was skeptical about this purchase at first because of the cost and my past history with flimsy woven mesh, BUT these are gorgeous, soft, well-made bags that are perfect for sooooo many situations! The cost is minimal compared to the quality. I use them as stuff sacks in all my sewing stashes - the little ones for toggles and buttons and the XL size for yarn, cloth, etc. I had been using see-thru plastic containers because the soft mesh I'd used in the past was weak and short-lived. These bags are much sturdier! The XL size will hold about the same amount of stuff as a shoe box, so I am planning on purchasing more of them when it is time to put away winter storage - a great alternative for stuffing away wool socks and chunky-yarn hats. I thought originally that the small sizes would be good for only small grocery shopping and a few trinkets, but they have become must-have organizing tools in every room and laundry is MUCH easier. In the bathroom, the bags are perfect for collecting hair ties, small bottles, lip balms... and I hang one in the shower to catch rings, earrings, etc. The mesh is tight and dependable. We've made closet and drawer sachets with whole coffee beans and whole cloves. *I did add toggle buttons to the bags that take the most opening/closing abuse (the cord knots are impossible to untie if they are wet), but my clever pre-teen is experimenting with creating much prettier, leather slip-closures and colorful crochet slides.

Useful and eco friendly. Wash well.

These are my favorite reusable produce bags, of several types that I've used. They are soft and lightweight, and can be easily machine washed. The mesh makes it easy for the grocery store checker to identify the item of produce. I happened to be dyeing a few things using natural dyes, and threw a few of these in -- they took the color beautifully! I only wish I had thought dye all the small ones one color, mediums another color, etc. since it would be nice to use color coding to tell at a glance whether I'm grabbing a small or large bag out of my stash when at the grocery store.You can keep your produce in these in the fridge when you get home if you want -- I find that most produce lasts better in these than in the thin plastic bags (which are terrible for the environment).

Tip - put one of the produce stickers on the bag's tag for ease of checking out. Cashiers sometimes struggle to see what fruit is in the bag or to find a code to enter in.Like:- fits most of my smaller item needs (packed full = 4 grapefruit, 4 lg apples, 4 reg bananas)- easy to clean- certified organic (aka cotton grown more environmentally conscious)- unbleached- durable- no more plastic produce bags!Dislike:- indicated ~10% shrinkage, but ended up with 20-25% ~8x10" shrunk to ~6x8"(measured before cold wash & hang dry, then after when it had been stretched back out from being full of fruit)- small will not fit 5 large apples or 5 large bananas (as indicated on Simple Ecology's website)Now that I know what to expect for final size and fill space, I'll wait for another sale and purchase the large size for items that don't fit in the small.

I have been using these for a long time now. I have no complaints. They have held up despite weekly use and abuse. They are easy to clean. I even stained them accidentally but an immediate soak solved that completely. The drawstrings on all of them work the same as new still. Just happy with them. They do the job. Also they allow the cashier to tell what the product is relatively easily.

The only downside is that they are smaller in person but otherwise sturdy & well-made to carry a couple of vegetables and/or fruit
