Despite the negative reviews and issues with app connectivity, I decided to buy this blanket.Please keep in mind that without the app, your blanket will only turn on and off, and have 1 basic heat function. If you are not as tech-savvy, I would recommend considering a different blanket.Pros:- Great pattern, looks nice with decor- Adjustable heat settings, large range, and custom timer functions- Amazing customer supportCons:- More of a throw-sized blanket, will not cover me toes to shoulders at 5'2"- Sheds a bit in the first few weeks of useWhen I first tried using this blanket, I could not get it to connect to the app. After resetting the blanket (holding the button when you plug it into the wall), unplugging and plugging it in again, etc, I could not get it to work. I ended up using it but found that the base setting got uncomfortably hot.I reached out to Eddie Bauer / Royal Heritage customer support and they sent me a new cord right away, citing a faulty cord for the connectivity issue. It arrived and my blanket worked without a hitch! Before leaving a negative review, I strongly encourage reaching out to customer support.

WARNING This blanket causes EXTREME frustration. Unless you are an actual Saint your patience will be blown to pieces trying to make this blanket work. Proceed with caution.......Now that that's out of the way, I must say this is the most frustrating item I've ever purchased via Amazon! Now to be fair it's not entirely Amazon's fault, but with the amount of reviews all claiming faulty and unworkable product you'd think they'd remove it from availability. I personally read the reviews before purchase, and was still suckered in. I figured that there's no way such and expensive well establishes Name Brand product could only produce duds and still be actively in circulation, and that if on the off chance mine was broken, that's what support and warranty was for. So with little hesitation I bought the blanket. When it arrived It was of course broken. When plugged in it would heat up (quite warm at that) but, I had no control because I couldn't get it to sync to the app. Instead I consistently got caught in the final stage connecting loop. So I contacted support. Despite what others may have experienced, I connected with support quite quickly and their responses were fast and efficient. I was told that some of their controllers were ineffective and within a day or so of contact, they shipped out a new controller. So after a quick 3 day shipping I received my new controlled and excitedly tried it out. Aaaaaaaand nothing. Same exact problems as the first nothing but a connecting loop. So I l reached out to support again, and once again received a prompt response. This time the agent assured me that the new controller definitely worked because it was tried out before it was sent. She then requested a phone call so they they could walk me through the set up process step by step which she did, however still no Bueno. So it was determined that it must be my wifi, so the next step would be to try it on a different network, which I did and still no connection. At this point I'm fed up with it and decide to use it as is and just stick it in a smart plug and call it a day. However now it won't even freaking heat up. I mean seriously it's freaking ridiculous. I'm officially done with this blanket. Save yourself the time energy and frustration and buy a different blanket.

I was having a very hard time getting the blanket to work. I call and had a wonderful person named Maria Hedrick that helped me to get my blanket to heatup. She even sent me a new power cord that she witnessed work. She wasn't going to give up on making my blanket work! We even worked for over an hour getting it to hookup to to the internet. I'm so happy to have my warm blanket for the colder weather that will be coming soon! It's so nice to be able to control the heat on the blanket with my phone and the app. Thanks so much for taking the time to making my blanket work!

Overall I’m very happy with this blanket! I ordered my first one and there was some connection issues with my phone, contacted Amazon we trouble shooted the issue but they offered a replacement. Which I was fine with the idea of a smart blanket excited me coming home to a warm blanket warming up for me was perfect! I received the replacement and didn’t have any issues connecting. My tips would be to download the rhh sleep app first and have it set up and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! The first two and last two pages were the biggest help. The blanket itself is so soft and cozy it was a good splurge for me!

The package was delivered on time and packaged well.The good stuff:- The blanket is very soft.- I like the color. I really wanted the blue one but I ordered the khaki color because it was on sale. I was pleasantly surprised with the beige color fleece side.- The blanket does heat up nicely. At first it seemed too hot but since it has gotten colder out, I've adjusted to the level of heat in the blanket.- My cat loves it!The bad stuff:- I cannot get this blanket connected to the wifi. I have a dual banded router and tried using both 5ghz and 2.4 ghz. I read that is a common problem in other reviews. I have reached out to the manufacturer so if they can get it working I may change the star rating.- It is difficult to even get the blanket into pairing mode. Every single time I try, I have to unplug it and plug it back in while holding down the power button. Then I have to push the button on and off several times before it starts to blink.- Without wifi I cannot change the level of heat or set a timer or any of the other things that are available on the app.This could've been a five star rating if the blanket would connect to wifi.

I really love this. It keeps me warm and the grey color is very pretty.

DON'T order this item if you live in Australia. I knew it was coming from the USA but that didn't worry me because I have bought electrical items before and been able to use them in Australia with the right transformer and plug. I purchased the right equipment but it obviously short circuited as soon as I put the power to it - a large sharp bang occurred. It has never worked and I cannot return it as the 'window for return has closed'. It is supposed to be under warranty for a year so I don't understand this as I bought it less than a year ago. AMAZON you should do better than this - I should be allowed to return this item for a full refund - especially as I frequently buy items from you and give good reviews.
