I got it just because it was a pusheen style kitty cat and my sister loves them. I totally missed the hand warmer aspect and it works wonderful for that.it has a pass through passage through the sides you can stick your hands in each side and touch your hands inside and keep warm.

This kitty is adorable! He's got a pocket in him for your hands. You can sit and snuggle him, he's very snuggly, while warming your fingers. He is well sewn and so cute. We love him!

Soft, fluffy, and larger. Great when you are sleeping, you can slip your hand through the middle and just be comforted. A good sensory animal too for those with sensory processing issues. Although ... there is a "handwarmer" plush I prefer more in that regard, but this one is a good addition. Good for young and old alike. Have not washed it yet, will update when I do. No construction issues. Nothing bad that stood out. Overall ... no regrets.
