I use it for Astrophotography, on a really cold night with long exposures, my lens would often fog over. One particularly cold night in February a sheet of ice formed, it was amazing I was getting any image at all! That was the motivation for buying this. It's very light weight so doesn't effect the balance of the mount. It does require a USB plugged in to the mains (rather than a splitter box) to be able to use the 3 power settings. I use a small mains battery pack which would last for many hours if necessary. It solved my problem and will be buying another one for my tracker lens.

Bought it due to dew misting up my telescopes (Celestron 130SLT) reflector after about 30 minutes looking into the heavens. With 3 heat settings I am able to set it perfectly so as not to distort the image while giving me all the time I like to star gaze

Brought for my husbands telescope he is verry happy, gives plenty of warmth kept telescope clear at - 3. It is a great thickness not bulky or sheer. Fits perfectly on his Nexstar 5se telescope.

Fits nicely on the lens with the adjustable velcro keeping it in place.Plugged into my ASI Air fir power.

Use this round the dew shield on a telescope. Keeps things working even in minus temperatures. Works well

Does the job. Cable is a bit stiff which makes it hard to pack into your camera bag but other than that no issues
