Nice look but already started to fray at the edge
The style is nice it's not too big fitting into standard doorway and it's surprisingly effective at removing dirt from shoes however it is rather delicate. I already removed a large fiber that was starting to fray. I realize that coir is a natural product and subject to some variability but I think the sealing underneath and around the edges needs to be a little more robust to hold the edge fibers in place and reduce premature fraying.

Exceptional Quality and price
I bought this to replace an old rug for the entryway of my front door. This is a perfect nonslip doormat that grabs dirt while staying in place! Love the natural look :)

Not very “low clearance”
This was not as low clearance as I needed, but I do not want to take the time to box it up and return it, so we will try to use it somewhere else. It was not low enough to fit under a glass storm door - it catches and prevents the storm door from opening.

This is a good mat for my purposes
This is a good mat for my purposes. It's "low" on nap-profile and it has worked well since we installed it on 'west' and 'east' doors to the vestibule. I bought a pair as a "Christmas" gift, (!), for dear hubby and he, (the man that is all about function/work/tools) loved this mat.Since December the 'west' mat has taken on a lot of wet, wild, blow-snow. The mat dried out and stayed in shape! We're now in Spring season & now the west mat is taking only "big wet" rains. It still dries out and works. The east mat hasn't had as much "abuse". The "parquet" style of this mat is an excellent feature as one can wipe foot "stain" off in multiple directions. The "east" mat has the bulk of this "wiping", (from the dog-yard,) and it stays intact, doesn't fray and looks like new since December. If you need a "low-profile" mat, that is TOUGH, I recommend this mat.We both loved this mat so much we've bought two more

Might Be Okay If Completely Protected from the Elements
We purchased two of these in January 2016 for low clearance doors on the back side of the house. One mat received morning sun only for a few hours, while the other was in complete shade and relatively sheltered. Three months later, both are curling up at all four corners from typical rain soaking/drying, which makes it impossible to open and close the doors without dragging the mats along with them. I gave them an additional star because they did do a good job removing the clay from our boot soles when they were still functional and I presume the curling would not have occurred if the mats never got wet. Today, I'm looking for replacement mats.

It's a doormat...
Well, what can I say? It's a doormat. I tried to think of some striking imagery to truly describe the essence of this item, but yeah, no... it looks like the picture of the doormat. It's very textured which makes it good for wiping your feet because that's what it's for. It smells a bit like tires when you take it out of the box, but I think that's because of the backing. It still slips around a bit on the linoleum in my entry way, but I don't think it will send me sliding across the floor or anything. Although, if you ever walk in the house soaking wet from bad weather and the floor gets wet, it might slide out from under you on a smooth surface. However, I doubt it'd slide around at all on concrete or a deck. My cat adores it. She apparently doesn't care that it smells a bit like tires, and she thinks it is wonderful for scratching, which is fine; she can scratch a $12 mat all day long. It's cheaper than most of her other toys.

Awesome cleaning for muddy shoes
I wasn't sure if the design would make this harder to clean shoes than a coco mat with evenly cut fibers. It is superb; the fibers are stitched with high loops creating the design, which results in stiff ridges that really clear the soles.
