You probably do not need this switch
The only reason to purchase this switch would be to have the advanced routing capabilities as well as the POE++/10GB ports. However, if you link this switch to Nebula, you lose a lot of the configuration detailed in the XS1930-12HP User Guide (or spec page or any of their documentation). Nebula ** disables ** most of the Web Administration configuration, including inter-VLAN routing, IP routing (ipv4/ipv6), etc. Web administration loses most of its tabs. You can configure IP address and not much else (not even the Web Administration timeout). You will not find this out until you link the switch to Nebula. You may assume all of the items you can configure in Web Administration will be available in Nebula. The answer is No. In some cases (you can search for Nebula missing features, which I failed to do before purchasing this switch), the functionality has been missing for years (confirmed reports going back to 2019). In other cases, such as inter-VLAN routing, Zyxel disables that configuration in Web Administration and then locks it behind a "Pro" license (a fee-based time-limited subscription). I do not know why Zyxel thinks this is acceptable to disable features like this. They certainly do not come out and tell you this will happen either. Silver lining (?) is you can remove the switch from the Nebula and regain full access to your switch you spent $$$ on.I have also noted a problem with this switch and SFP+ when connecting to a Supermicro Motherboard MBD-X11SDV-4C-TP8F SFP+ port. Zyxel will not enable the link (Nebula shows SFP+ and all 0s for the stats when the cable is plugged in). The Supermicro connects to SFP+ on D-Link w/out issue. Zyxel also connects to D-Link w/out issue. The only problem is Zyxel + Supermicro. I do not know if it affects other Supermicro boards, but considering this is a mainstream server board this could be a significant issue if you use Supermicro.Test resultsSuccessful Link:Zyxel XS1930-12HP Port 11 via #10Gtek# SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable SFP-H10GB-CU to D-Link DGS-1250-28XMP Port 26 worksZyxel XS1930-12HP Port 11 via #10Gtek# SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable SFP-H10GB-CU to D-Link DGS-1250-28XMP Port 28 worksZyxel XS1930-12HP Port 12 via #10Gtek# SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable SFP-H10GB-CU to D-Link DGS-1250-28XMP Port 26 worksZyxel XS1930-12HP Port 12 via #10Gtek# SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable SFP-H10GB-CU to D-Link DGS-1250-28XMP Port 28 worksSupermicro Motherboard MBD-X11SDV-4C-TP8F SFP+ via #10Gtek# SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable SFP-H10GB-CU to D-Link DGS-1250-28XMP Port 26 worksSupermicro Motherboard MBD-X11SDV-4C-TP8F SFP+ via #10Gtek# SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable SFP-H10GB-CU to D-Link DGS-1250-28XMP Port 28 worksFails to link:Zyxel XS1930-12HP Port 12 via #10Gtek# SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable SFP-H10GB-CU to Supermicro Motherboard MBD-X11SDV-4C-TP8F SFP+ failsIn summary, be aware you may not be able to use certain features of this premium priced switch. You may want to evaluate alternatives for a better fit for your requirements.

Perfect with minor issue but still want to give it 5 stars
This is the most cost effective 12port sub-rack-width full 10Gbps web managed switch I can find. There are other models built with the same RTL9313 platform, but this one has two main advantages as far as my experience goes:1) it features 2 non-POE RJ45 ports, so I don't have to purchase SFP+ RJ45 modules which is expensive and generates a lot of heat; and2) it is the quietest among the ones I've used, mainly because I don't have to use the modules which reduces a lot of heat.Talking about the issues, this switch has a out-of-box-experience guide. The guide itself is a nice thing, helps you quickly set it up. However one thing is really stupid with the guide - when you try to setup trunk ports for VLAN, it assigns VLAN 1 as tagged. This won't be an issue for some network, but most network that this switch fits in will have VLAN 1 as untagged. This causes a lot of hidden issues which took me hours to figure out. However once fixed, it is perfect. The software is fully featured and generally easy to use.Overall, I am still highly satisfied with this model.

Great mostly quiet network switch
I've been looking for a way to introduce faster than 1 Gb speeds to my home network. This switch is a great way to add 2.5, 5 and 10 Gb capability to any network. This switch is very quiet which is a necessity since it lives in a rack in my master closet. I've owned other Zyxel switches over the last several years and they have been bullet proof. With fiber coming to my neighborhood this switch will provide a future proof way to increase network speeds.

Excellent POE Switch
After the initial firmware update and some configuration through a not so intuitive webserver (requires a little browsing), this is a rock solid POE switch performing as advertised. It is a “setup and forget” device. Night and day difference compared to ubiquiti from which I upgraded from and really now felt amateurish and high maintenance in comparison.

Amazing switch with spectacular features and speed.
Amazing 10GB switch with high powered POE. The price is much lower than comparable products by other vendors. Highly recommend.
