Works great
Installed on a new air compressor so it wouldn’t rot out like my last one.

Great addition to a new compressor
Bought a new compressor for my garage and wanted an inexpensive auto drain. The Automatic Timed Water Tank Electronic Timed Drain Valve was easy to install - I wired it in parallel to the motor and automatically purges the condensate whenever the motor shuts off. No more worries!

The threads are not tapered like normal pipe thread.
You’ll need a bunch of tape and or thread compound because the threads have no taper. When you thread the solenoid into the strainer piece, it doesn’t get tight until it bottoms out. You’ll need to use a bunch of thread seal to make it work and not spin loose and leak. It may leak anyway.

Threads do not seal
This valve has threads that are not tapered, and do not tighten up onto the supplied fittings. Worthless.
