I'm a keen hiker/camper, and work as a postman. Out in all weathers, and these trousers couldn't be better for both uses. Quick drying, water resistant, breathable and tough. Plenty of pockets, most secured with zippers or velcro. V comfortable fit. Well designed. Leg cinches, to secure over boots to keep your feet dry. Simply excellent outdoors utility trousers. And they look great on. Worth every penny! As to sizing, I advise to order a size down from your usual size. I'm normally an XL. 34x34 in Levis. 6ft 1 and 13st. Ordered a L in these and they fit perfectly.

These Race Revolution pants are of a great quality at the same time look fashionable.The size i ordered actually fit like a glove where i feel comfortable and at ease, as well as having room for manoeuvre.Material is of good quality, you can feel the fabric quality by feel.With 4 pockets, two can be zipped, also a zipped air vent that runs down each leg, from waist to knee. Bottom of the leg is adjustable so you can get the exact adjustability as the leg meets the footwear.These pants are great for multi purpose outside use, especially in inclement weather.They are of such good quality that i have ordered a couple more pairs in different colours.They are expensive for pants but in ceartin cases you pay for good quality, imo, this is the case.I bought a pair £109, to find them over £40 cheaper a week later.That's annoying as i could have had a 3rd pair for free after buying 2 pairs. In fact i have purchased 4 pairs in total.One pair i was charged £65, 2 pairs £109 with the other being £89.I'm very happy with each individual pair and i am hoping these pants will last for the next 2 years at least.I would rate these 4.5 but the rating system doesn't allow that.Hope this review is both helpful and beneficial. Pondered long and hard because of the many comments about sizing on this brand.I'm 6' 2" (187 cm), weighing 87kg, waist 35" (89cm) and usual wear jeans with a 34" inside leg.I ordered the "Large" size and I'm happy with fit; a bit of tight fit round the ankles and calves but nothing I can't live with. A zip in the outside if each ankle would be useful for some.So far appear to good quality and comfortable to walk in.

Great trousers for walking, good material.

These seem really well made and high quality but unless you are in the 10% of people that are 6ft+ they will be far too long. 5’10”, 32” waist ordered medium. Waist is about 4 inches too big and legs are about 4 inches too long.

I bought these for indoor climbing during the colder months. The stretch panels are very stretchy and the ankle cuffs allow you to cinch down the fabric so it's not baggy with climbing shoes on. Size S was spot on and measures the same for me as skinny jeans or fjallraven trousers.

Absolutely great trousers.I've been a fan of the RR brand a while and their quality is unmatched in my opinion. I needed some new trousers and saw these on offer. Great quality, good fit and definitely up to the rigors of hill walking and scrambling.So good that I went back and ordered a second pair!
