Marketplace Christianity: Discovering the Kingdom Purpose of the Marketplace

Great read. Perfect for a study group.

This is one of those books where it is obvious after he points things out. Basically pointing a path for people to build a ministry that is not through someone else's vocational ministry. That we can do so much as business people to bring the Word.I remember reading the Ugly American in the 60's and his point was how effective Americans were in other countries spreading what America was about versus the Embassies and Americans who stayed separated from the general populace of the country they were serving. This is the same concept. That if you are not being a Christian for money, but out of love, your impact can be much greater.

I did not like I had to order numerous times to get the number of books I wanted. I received them all in good shape but from a half dozen companies.

Needed this for school and it sufficed quite well. This came quick and easy and did what i needed it for. Good textbook and good read.

This is one of those must read books for modern christians. It addresses the problem christians have today on how do we serve God and still support ourselves in todays competitive marketplace while still feeling good about ourselves. All to often we feel the only way to serve our Lord is in the ministary; which this book shows us is incorrect. We can in most cases be of greater service to God by working in the economic marketplace and this book shows us how. You just gotta read it.

I believe this book was given by God to loose the financial shackles off of the kingdom. It was exactly what I needed for this season of my life. It help me understand that my business is not only an extension of my "pulpit ministry" but can also be my primary platform to deliver the gospel. It also gave practical advise for building an anointed business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND WE WILL BE PURCHASING ADDITIONAL COPIES TO SEED INTO THE LIVES OF OTHERS.

Very good book, enjoyed almost everything I'm the book. This is one I will probably come back to again, at least portions.Why I gave it 5 stars: 1) well written, 2) some amazing revelation, 3) changed my attitude and transformed me.

I found this book to be very clear and understandable. Should be a must read for every business owner and house of worship members. We all have a part to play.

A fresh revelation of our role as Christians in the marketplace - this is the teaching that we are missing from many churches

I knew there was more to Christians working in the marketplace that just having a job and filling a headcount post. This book has really confirmed how pivotal my role in the marketplace is and the importance of working as unto The Lord and allowing the Holy Spirit lead and guide me. I will highly recommend this book.
