Scool Yoga Headstand Bench Yoga Inversion Chair Great for Workout, Fitness and Gym

I ordered this after seeing a Facebook video of one of my friends randomly doing a workout on a yoga stool. I was so impressed I looked into the benefits and immediately started searching for the cheapest thing I could find. This is great. Easy to put together and all my kids take turns on it. I have been suffering from chronic lyme disease and didn't think I'd be able to wrap my hands around the legs to get myself up because of all the joint pain. Surprisingly it's very easy to hoist your legs up and a lot less effort than I thought to stay up. Since then I've had a lot of relief from tapee tea and now I can stay on this stool as long as I want. Could only do about 10 seconds at first now I can be up there a couple minutes and move my legs all around. Starting to get used to watching TV upside down.

Several of these reviews pertain to a folding bench. This bench definitely doesn't fold, so either Amazon or the company is confused. The bench that I purchased is the one in the picture. No suction cups on the feet. Screwed together with machine screws. Heavy duty. Does. Not. Fold. That's a plus in my opinion. My cervical spine is depending on it. (see that pun?)This is a good unit for people that are nervous about sirsasana, are training for it, or have a sensitive cervical spine. Some people object to the amount of weight that it puts on the shoulders. OK, it's not for everybody.Tadasana practice is key for safe sirsasana. Think about it.As a teacher I would like to stipulate that one still needs pressure on the sirsa (bregma) when using this device. Fold up a blanket or two so that when you are inverted there is soft pressure on your sirsa. Maybe just enough so that you are able to increase the pressure slightly by cervical extension (Tadasana upside down!). This has a noticeable effect on the nervous system that is quite different than the skull simply hanging in space. Try it, if you are skeptical.Remember that when you are in sirsasana you are balancing the entire planet on your head. This is not trivial.

Super easy to assemble,although I used real tools and not the included one.Sturdy, and doesn't move around on carpet. Mine did not come with suction cups mentioned in other reviews, so we haven't used it in the kitchen or dining room. But we will someday.We use this for better purposes than it's intended ,boring,use. Because I think of The Box when thinking outside of the box.That being said, it's a bit too tall.I need a pillow on top of the, provided,removable one. Then the two pillows slide around while I greedily working on my task. I might cut the legs off by 2 inches. The feet are easy to remove,and would just as easily be put back onto shorter legs. The only other thing I will modify is the cross brace underneath. It needs padding to protect the forehead. I've turned the other way, but that changes everything ,and I can't get that deep muscle stretch. It breaks down as easily as it goes together, so is easy to transport. I've shown it to a couple of my friends, and they seem enthused by it and Our usage of it.All around a good buy. She sits on the Throne, I wear The Crown, and we both relax,meditate,and become one as we achieve enlightenment.
