Dell WM514 Wireless Laser Mouse (DR1KP)

Absolutely excellent. Smooth and works on any surface. The only "negative" (and I put that word in quotes on purpose) is that when I first sit down to my computer, I need to press a button on the bottom of the mouse to activate it as it goes to sleep after a prolonged period of inactivity and doesn't have the ability to automatically wake up when I start moving it around, which is something that some other similar products can do. However it's a small price to pay for a mouse that's as smooth and reliable as this one. Plus, it looks good and has great ergonomics.

I have two of these computer mice now, and I'll always keep buying this one. The best part: I have dropped my first mouse dozens of times, and it still works! The top pops off when it falls, but I still have yet to knock something out of place to the point where it stops working (which is how many of my Logitech mice died :/). I also like the way the mouse feels--it is lightweight, and does it job well.

Legit Mouse. Contemplated just getting a cheaper 10-15dollar mouse but glad I bit the bullet on something more sound. Extremely responsive and stable. using on Windows 7 dell studio laptop. Other random mice seem to act weird. This mouse I can use while I'm sitting in a chair or laying in bed. no need for a mouse pad really where the cheaper brands do need a more stable surface this device is quite forgiving within reason.

Excellent wireless Laser mouse! It has a great bottom section that prevents the ugly "stiction" that occurs to the bottom of most mice on the mouse pad after the build-up of wax and dust. This mouse seems to be designed to be unaffected by it. It also has an effective "on-off" push-button switch on the bottom to easily turn the unit on or off.

Noisy...but ok

This is my favorite mouse. I have one at home and one at work. If anything happes to either one, I will replace with the same mouse. Feels create, easy to move and not to big for my little hands.

The mouse worked fine for a month. Then it stopped working. My wife replaced the batteries. It still would not work - no power light. I removed and replaced the batteries. Still no power light. I looked at the instructions. They are in extremely small print and are essentially small diagrams. I noticed from one diagram that the batteries were supposed to be inserted + end down. I positioned the batteries that way and the power light came on, then blinked. The mouse worked. When you remove the batteries, the case holding the batteries has a + at the top and a - lower down. Nope, the - at the bottom is some extraneous mark. Confusing marks showing how the batteries should be positioned. Now with new batteries inserted properly, mouse works, but the power light occasionally blinks on and off. Should it stay on continuously? Is blinking power light a problem? Instructions give no clue. Limited warranty? mentioned in instructions but to read it you have to get it from the internet. Overall: Unreliable, confusing markings showing how to position batteries, tiny instruction booklet, warranty terms not supplied. This purchase was a mistake.

Waiting to plug this in . This is the second one I have purchased. They work fine until you have to change the batteries. It appears to have a problem with the on and off button on the bottom once you change the batteries. Keeping my fingers crossed.
