Nice upgrade for my mini lathe. The cutters are sharp and tough. The post and holders are firm with a good finish. Keep your old parts, though, you may need some of them to integrate the new tool post.

This is an amazing comprehensive kit. It had everything I needed to start making chips. The instructions are very specific. The quick change tool holder save a ton of time. Took the guess work from figuring out what to get for my lathe.

Product was what I had come to expect from prior similar experience. Have used similar product on much larger production lathes. The materials along with fit & Finnish were exactly up to standard for the purpose.

I've had the HF 7x10 lathe for some years now. How in the world I ever managed to use it without this QC tool post I'll never understand. It arrived quickly, installed easily, and It. Just. Works. Very solid, and the adjustable tool holders mean never having to shim bits again, and you can swap between cutters, boring bar or cut off tool in seconds. The drill chuck is much bigger and better then what came with the lathe. If you have a mini lathe, just get this. You need it!

So far, I haven't cut metal with this kit but the fit,finish and quality is great.

Looks with good quality...haven't use it yet!!!
