NutcaseVIO-Blanco Unisex Adult Helmet, Multicoloured, L/XL

I just wanted to say a very sincere thank you to Nutcase for saving my wife from serious brain injury, if not probably saving her life! As you can see in the photo, her helmet took a real battering when she fell off her bike, landing in a rock strewn gully a couple of feet below the narrow bridge we were crossing. She broke her right femur, but thanks to you and your excellent product, did not suffer any brain trauma despite obviously cracking her head on assorted boulder during her tumble.We will definitely be purchasing a replacement Vio helmet as soon as she is 'up and atom' once more.

I ride often at night in the city and so I went ahead and ordered this helmet. I love that it has a light in the front and the back. Overall comfortable and the lights are bright and noticeable. You'll get a lot of interesting looks. Some compliments, even heard kids with their parents, telling them to "look!" amazed at the lights.Where this helmet need improvement, the visor. It really doesn't attach well enough. I ended up losing mine, so I contacted Nutcase's customer service and they were willing to send me a replacement for free without any issues. Just had to send them the numbers inside of the helmet. When the replacement came, it still had issues. It's still on there, as the ends go inside of the holes as they're supposed to, but the middle part really doesn't attach to my helmet.Another issue; although I haven't ran into this just yet... I hope the battery doesn't die on me quickly. I'm always turning it off during stops. Battery life should be improved though.Overall, I know there are competitors out there with good looking helmets that have lights on the helmet for a cheaper price. I only chose this one over the other because this helmet emits light from all sides, which is the safe choice.

I was so excited when I ordere the Nutcase VIO Bike Helmet with LED Lights and MIPS. After receiving it and unboxing it, I was just as much disappointed as I was excited before. There is one thing that is causing me to return this helmet, but there are two things that I will write about.Before using the helmet, I wanted to fully charge the helmet. I lifted up the right side where the charging cord plugs in. I left the helmet for about 30 minutes. When I returned the entire black rubber piece had fallen off. I attempted to put it back in place, but it would never stay in place and continued to fall off of the helmet. It appeared that perhaps there was a glue substance that was suppose to hold it in place. You can see it on one side in the picture where it is shiny. In another picture you can see how the left side would not stay flat after I tried to put it in place. No matter how hard I pressed to keep the rubber piece in place, it would not stay on. Without the rubber piece, it would have been hard to press the button to turn on the lights. This is unacceptable to me. I love the helmet, but without the rubber piece, the helmet is not worth the money because it would be difficult to turn the lights on and off.The next thing that causes me concern is the visor for the helmet that is included. There are three notches to keep the visor in place, but the visor did not stay in place. The visor kept falling off when I was moving the helmet about. Perhaps some thin strips of velcro may help it to stay on if you're having the same problem at home.Because of the problems I had, I am returning this Nutcase helmet.

Excellent helmet! We live in Florida and it’s hot here! Very light weight helmet, so happy to have the extra functions of lights when we ride at dusk. Nothing else like this helmet it’s worth it!

This is the most comfortable (and expensive) bike helmet I have owned. The lights are a great safety feature, and the magnetic chin strap works easily and flawlessly.The problem is - the visor has cheap and flimsy attachment points. The visor falls off if I touch my sunglasses or even brush my finger lightly on it. It even falls off in the wind when coasting down a small hill.

I have been wearing this helmet for a couple of weeks and I like. It fits well, is comfortable, and I think it looks good.Of course the best feature is the lights - they are bright!My only nit is it is a bit heavy and the ventilation is a somewhat weak - a trade off for the visibility.

Got the LG/XL size fit my head good. But I need more slack on the chin strap. I am little bit heavy. Open strap to the max. I have a double chin. Just barely fits.

Love this helmet. I’ve hit my head a few times roller skating and felt almost nothing. Zero damage. Very protective, light weight, stylish, breathable, and comfortable! Steep price point, but hospital bills and lasting injuries are more expensive, so.. get one!

Bisher bin ich immer mit Helmen 60-62 cm gut klar gekommen, auch dieser passt mit dem MIPS Einsatz. Das Licht ist verdammt hell. Nur die Helmbänder könnten länger sein, bei mir hat es gerade so gepasst. Das Akku für die Lichter war nach 25 Minuten voll aufgeladen. Der Helm selber ist anständig verarbeitet, auch der Micro USB Anschluss macht einen soliden Eindruck.Der Magnetverschluss ist originell und funktioniert gut, die sonst übliche Ratschenleiste tut es aber auch.Mit dem Visier sieht der Helm so ein bisschen nach Reitsport aus. Wer besser gesehen werden will, kann getrost in diesen Helm investieren, die hellen LEDS (auch nach vorne, wirken wie ein Tagfahrlicht) sind garantiert zu sehen.Hinweis: Der Helm leuchtet nach hinten nur in Rot und nicht in Weiß wie auf einigen Werbefotos. Nach hinten 3 Leuchtmodi, konstant, flackern, pulsierend. Die weiße Helmleuchte vorne bleibt immer konstant.

Der Fahrradhelm besticht vor allem durch die LED Beleuchtung. Im Test hat er auch gut abgeschnitten.Ansonsten unterscheidet er sich nur optisch von meinen Casio Helm, der ebenso gut funktioniert.

Ein gut sitzender Helm, der auch an dunklen Tagen in der Großstadt einen sicher nach Hause bringt. Unbedingte Kaufentscheidung. Teuer, aber sein Geld unbedingt wert!
