Wonderful story!
Great story line with interesting characters. Good mystery that holds your interest and hard to put down. I love a clean book without all the intimate details. Thank you.

Read the whole series, it is worth it
Too many people don't have a good understanding of military life. This series does a pretty good job of helping you to understand. There were a number of military facts that were presented incorrectly, like getting groceries at the BX instead of the commissary, or calling and officer Lieutenant Colonel instead of just Colonel. The stories all have a common plot, and then each book has a sub-plot with the specific characters. I enjoyed the series.

What a series
The heroine is thought to be assisting the Red Rose Killer in getting in and off the base. The hero is dealing with PTSD and guilt of losing his best friend Jake. If the heroine is assisting the Red Rose Killer than who is trying to kill her. The hero is assigned to protect her. With the heroine's belief in God and her caring spirit the hero is pulled back into the light. This book has attempted murder, drugs, and we find out who the anonymous blogger is. You will never believe it😉

research please?
I've enjoyed the books in this series. There are times I shook my head at the lack of research on some but this one really bothered me. A few minutes of research could have solved a lot of problems. She is attacked and they leave without needing to talk to the SPs? Nurses aren't given k9s, especially not protection trained and they'd never be allowed in the hospital. Not to mention that Dobermans are a banned breed on military posts. You can't have them. And therapy dogs given to soldiers with PTSD??? No, the military does NOT give dogs to anyone with PTSD. Therapy dogs are dogs that go into hospitals or schools, etc., to visit with people. SERVICE DOGS are the ones that veterans and an occasional active duty military person might get and they do not get them from any of the military branches. Most Post and Base doctors and therapists have been forbidden to write a prescription for a service dog to any active duty member. Not all VA therapists will write a prescription for them. If her brother was that severe he'd be med-boarded out. No, the military does not take in litters to train that are found in a bush. Military officers have a secondary MOS. I won't get into all the other military errors. And no one would, especially someone with PTSD, be sitting at an outside cafe with someone who has a killer shooting at the person with them. And she is just walking all over with someone trying to shoot and kill her? But she has a guard for when she is inside her house....

A very sensitive story
This series continues to retain it's intensity and heart-warming stories. Many do not understand what those who are affected by PTSD have to deal with and this story portrays the very real side to this illness in a very sensitive way. As for the K-9 officers - their stories and abilities are amazing. And the continued search for the "Red Rose" killer keeps one in suspense - have pre-ordered the next 2 issues!!!
