A non-tarty wench /barmaid costume! Winner!
Wanted to dress as a barmaid character from a book for world book day at school. Turns out most bar maid outfits aren't quite what I would choose to wear to school! I liked this one though and it was very comfortable to wear. I made some adjustments to the waistcoat to give it a bit more shape but that was easily done and I got many compliments through the day.

just the job for a medieval festival
Bought this to wear to the Fete de Rampart festival in Dinan, France. Just the job as I got in free as I was 'in costume'.I am a size 10 and it was roomy but if you are bigger than a 12+ it will be a tight squeeze

Hey Nonny Nonny No!
A bit long for me but very easily altered. I'm a size 12 and this was quite a good fit. I would have given it five stars but the skirt was sewn on back to front { see the decoration } but again, easily altered. A reasonable purchase for the price.

Nice, but waistcoat is small
The dress fits very well, and one size would fit most people. The waistcoat was quite small if you have a big bust it won't fit.

Tudor wench costume
I bought this costume for a Tudor school outing. I was worried it would look cheap and nasty but actually was pleasantly surprised. For the price, it looks quite good and the quality is reasonable. I'm a size 10/12. It's a teeny bit big but it's fine! Feels comfy on.

Looked good for the price.
The dress fitted well and was comfortable. The bodice/ waistcoat was a strange shape for me, probably would fit someone with a smaller bust better but for the money it was fine.

Good value for money. I'm 5:11 height & it fitted fine. I had to wear it for a Tudor theme murder mystery & didn't want to spend loads of money on one evening. The waistcoat is a bit cheap & cheerful but the overall look is effective & it's now gone in the kids dressing up box

Very disappointed with this product and had to send it back
Very disappointed with this product and had to send it back. it said size 18 - 22. I am in fact a 16 - 18 but it did not fit and the waistcoat was about a size 10!!! We are going to a mediaeval festival and it would have been perfect if it had fitted.
