Fun product, works well with US power
Seems to be good quality, and definitely very fun to use (if a tad annoying to clean). Frying speed might be a bit unpredictable, but I haven't really experienced the variance between different slots that other reviewers have mentioned, despite using in the US with no power converter.

great product. but made in china
I read that this was made in Japan and that was one of the reasons I purchased this product.I used today and we all had a wonderful time. as it is very easy to use. I looked at a few youtube videos before hand.however the box says MADE IN CHINA. it was covered under a upc sticker.I am disappointed. just be honest with customer product is made in China. don't mislead us. we don't like that.

Love my new Takoyaki pan!
Works great here in southern Cali! The box says it's only for use in Japan but it works perfectly. There may be a few spots hotter than others, but once you figure those out you can estimate when to turn what balls and when. I love my Takoyaki pan and I've used it 5 times now with perfect yummy results!! I will be posting a recipe and tutorial soon on my blog www.sheepcanfly.com!Works

Cannot use it...!
Of course I had no problems with Amazon and getting it here and I had no problems with the company. I usually don't leave any reviews but I just had leave one this time. WARNING: This item cannot be used in the United States unless you have a converter, 120 volt to 100 volt. In the directions it states that it is only to used in Japan and it has a warning that you can only us it on 100 volt electrical systems. I guess if you live in Japan or anywhere that uses 100 volt electrical then no problems but if you live in the states don't waste your time. If you really want a takoyaki maker get one form Marukai, its the only place I could find one that works in the states. That one also has a flat top attachment for teppenyaki and okonomiyaki.

easy
The electric takoyaki pan works very well. It's very easy to use, but not so easy to clean. The oil you put on it to keep the takoyaki from sticking makes it a little difficult to get completely clean.

I loved it. Since the voltage in the US is different from the voltage in Japan you will find some hotspots (I found 3 on mine) but after you know where it is, things get a lot better. Just make sure you brush a little bit of oil in the holes, sometimes it sticks a little bit.

Shouldn't use this in the U.S.
Instruction said it uses for strictly in Japan. It may cause dangerous injure or/and death. It said in Japanese. There were no instruction in English attached, unfortunately. I contacted Yamazen (maker) directly, and asked about it.They said I should returned it.

Great pan!
I seriously LOVE this takoyaki pan. It makes delicious takoyaki! I've also used it to make cooked mashed potato balls with vegetables that were delicious! So many options for takoyaki fillings and they're great to pop in the freezer and keep for lunches.Just be careful because the iron part of the pan does get very hot. Do not get burnt!Great product!

Works Perfectly and Relatively Cheap
Product worked as described and I had no problems with the voltage here in Vancouver, Canada. The plate heated evenly and is relatively easy to clean after use with some wipes.
