This worked perfectly for our beach trip. Very sturdy and easy to pack away.

Took this on a trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama this last weekend. The kids and I loved using it to dig holes and build sand castles. Much less conspicuous than a big metal garden shovel. And it since it is lighter weight than that kind of shovel, it's less dangerous for bare-footed kids.

I got this shovel as an emergency shovel for the car that could also double as a a toy shovel for my kid. It is a little heavy for him, but I like that the sections are interchangeable so I can make the handle short for him. I can take this to the beach this summer for sandcastle building, too. It was more $ than I wanted to spend, but at least it is a real deal metal shovel and not some plastic junk

Super light weight, but works just as well if not better than a “normal” shovel. Love that you can change the handle sizes. My kids can now enjoy beach pools and climbing holes.

We travelled to Turks and Caicos with this shovel and it was simply perfect to build large sandcastles with the kids.When taken apart, it is small enough to fit in a checked bag or carry on (although I would suggest checking it in).

I was super excited about the shovel. It arrived, looked really cool, and was very light. However after using it on the beach today for the first time, I see some of the nice blue paint on the shovel’s face is coming off.
