DRI DuckMen's Maverick Work Jacket Brown X-Large

It's a little late in the year to find a jacket but the zipper broke on my old one. Still some cold days coming so I bought this. It appears very well made the exterior is soft and the inner lining is nice. Poured a little water on it to see what would happen. It beaded up and rolled right off. This jacket is a little heavier then the one I'm replacing but not by much.

I needed a new coat and usually trend towards Carhartt products, but thought I'd give this DRI DUCK coat a try...and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The quality of this coat is at least as good as the several Carhartt's I've owned, and maybe even a bit nicer and all at a better price. It's a tough, well made coat that can be used for chores or as a work coat, but still looks good enough to wear out on the town.

I also own the 5087 Outlaw jacket in an extra large. I ordered this jacket as a lighter version of the previously mentioned jacket. It is blanket lined on the body and quilt lined on the sleeves. However I should have realized that all jackets do not fit the same. The shoulders are for lack of a better term "puffy". On this jacket I should have ordered a large. It would have been a better fit. It will work once the stiffness from being new goes away I hope. Living in Minnesota I'll probably wear it with a hooded sweatshirt in the winter. On this jacket if you are border line on size, go smaller rather than larger. Other than the size issue, one cuff had red thread used to finish the stiching. It's brown everywhere else. Not a big issue and is barely noticable, but it is there. Would have sent it back but do not want to go through the hassle of paying the return postage for a return and reordering it. I only gave it four stars for the issues previously mentioned.

Can’t beat this jacket for the price looks good at work or out and about great for layering in Florida all u need

This jacket is very nice seems they run a bit big. Only thing I would change is drop one size

Good jacket. Heavy canvas, along the same lines as Carhartt.

I've owned this jacket since early February 2022 and so far it seems just fine. But...As usual there are a couple of disappointing features. None too serious. Maybe my biggest gripe would be the lack of zippered inner pocket which would make for a much more secure place to stash a cell-phone and a wallet or any other possession you may not wish to lose should you be traveling over rough winter back-country or, as I often do, often remove the jacket while attempting to refresh yourself in a trail-side stream. The cost of a cell-phone is rather steep rather steep and there are no secure storage features on the Maverick. Another slight defect for me might be a much too loose waist which I repaired with a couple of additional buttons.But overall I see this as a significant upgrade to the contemporary Carhartt Detroit. Hands down.
