I was pleasantly surprised what good quality this item is. Much better than most furniture you need to assemble yourself (and I've assembled A LOT). Assembly is pretty long-- probably an hour and a half. But the instructions are decent, and if you methodically follow them and take your time, there shouldn't be any problems. I only made a couple of minor errors that were easily rectified. The manufacturer provided at least one extra of almost every hardware piece, which is great in case I need to make repairs in the future. I am using this item as a storage cabinet in my bathroom, and it is aesthetically and functionally *perfect.* I took measurements in advance to visualize what it would look like in my home, and it looks exactly as expected. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I would consider purchasing another item from this collection if I decide to upgrade other storage in my bathroom. The only issue would be that the doors seem like they're supposed to be the kind where you push them in a little and then they pop open on their own, but the magnet is too strong, so the doors do not pop open. But the doors have knobs, so it's not awkward to just open the doors using the knobs like it's a regular cabinet that doesn't magnetically close. And I do like the magnet because it keeps the doors secure and in place when they're shut. But if you are extremely nitpicky about how your cabinet doors open, I suppose it could be an issue for you.

The media could not be loaded.  This is my second Vasagle product; the other is a small rolling file cabinet number UOFC71X. I like the rustic brown coloring of their products. This little cabinet fits my needs perfectly and I like the look and style. Even though it is veneer-covered pressboard it seems quite sturdy, thanks it part, I think, to the steel frames on the sides and bottom. Also, the thin backboard comes with screws instead of nails like other cabinets I own. Screws make things sturdier.It was packaged well enough that even though the outer cardboard box was beat up nothing was damaged inside. It is packed with cheap styrofoam pieces that shed flakes all over, so it made a little mess. It arrived in 7 days, about a week quicker than expected.To follow the wordless directions successfully you have to study the details very closely.The 'hinges' are just pegs, and the bottom ones have a retractable spring-loaded peg. As far as I could tell the instructions do not explain that, and not being familiar with retractable spring-loaded pegs I could not figure out how to install the doors. With the pegs installed in the doors there is not enough room to install the doors in the cabinet without forcing it and scratching the shelves. I searched YouTube for an assembly video for any similar Vasagle product and luckily found one. I included a homemade video showing the said peg with this review to help others avoid my dilemma.

I love this piece. I wanted it for my home office but it didn't make it out of the hallway as it fit at the end wall perfectly and looked so good. I took off a star for the difficulty in assembly. I couldn't attempt assembly myself but my very experienced friend commented on how challenging it was. Ultimately, I love the piece and it's useful, too.

Yes, you have to put it together, but my husband had it done in under an hour. The wood is lovely and goes well with rustic decor. It's made well and should last a long time with the proper care. I'm using it in a small guest bathroom for all the essentials that I like to be out of view. It's perfect!

We ordered several pieces from this line, including two of these to flank an archway in our dining room. I was very surprised at the quality of the assembly process. It was lengthy but well worth it. We live in an old home with uneven floors so the levelers on the bottom of the feet are fantastic! I love the drawers, they open and close smoothly and are fairly deep. Note: I originally purchased these to house our board games but the do not fit the depth of the cabinet. Overall, I am very happy with this product and the whole Vasagle line. Excellent quality for the price.

Purchased even though some reviewers posted poor reviews. It’s definitely a good value for the money but it’s far from a quality solid piece of furniture. We purchased as a little catch all outside the first floor bathroom to have extra towels inside and to hold phone and keys while grabbing a “just got home from the grimey outside” shower. The instructions were overall relatively clear, we did have to swap the drawer casters that the instructions said to put on the opposite way. The unit looks like good solid wood but it’s that particle board kind of wood that has a veneer finish on top. The veneer did chip in a few locations during the assembly process but thankfully not in any very obvious places. If you’ve gotten this far and are still going to purchase (which honestly we would buy it again for the same intended purposes), I would highly recommend assembling on a carpeted surface instead of wood or tile floor to help cushion the parts. The biggest disappointment was that on both doors the horizontal slats that make up the viewable side of the door were coming undone on both. My bf had to take them completely apart, add wood glue to the dowels and bungie together so that they will dry affixed. Likely this was due to manhandling during shipping or lack of protective packing at the manufacturer. There were no missing parts, to the contrary there was at least one extra of every piece of hardware (bolts, screws, dowels, etc) included in the package. Overall I would buy it again. While it’s definitely not going to become a heirloom piece of furniture it is more than adequate and does look lovely once assembled with the loose pieces fixed.

I was pleasantly surprised at how study this cabinet is. The assembly is quite difficult and it took a long time, but I am very happy with the overall product. I love the finish and I would definitely purchase more of this brand in the future.
