I have tried others but this is perfect for me. Not heavy at all.Good coverage, easy to read controller. Very happy with this blanker.

This is a luxury blanket that is so soft. It warms up quickly and the heat is distributed evenly. It hkds up well in the washing machine. I wash ours on the delicate cycle and in cold water. I hang the blanket to dry it. Long lasting and looks nice too. Perfect for the bed or to use on the couch to warm you onba cold night.

Doesn't get super warm, but good enough, so one star off for that.Wider, and much longer, than others, but not a problem. (twin size)Fabric soft and comfy, not thin but not overly heavy, could be used year round.Control box not annoyingly bright in the dark, fairly intuitive to use without waking to look.Now to see if it's lifespan is any better than others.

This blanket has only been on the bed a couple of nights but so far my partner and I are pleased. We have been through several electric blankets mainly because they are never warm enough for him at the feet and are way too bulky for me. I think we may have hit on one that suits both of us. It is lightweight and gets quite warm, with heat settings from 1-20 plus a Preheat. If aesthetics are important to you, know that the wires are visible through the fabric. Maybe they wouldn't show so much with a darker color, but we throw a quilt over our ivory one when we make the bed. There is a 5-Year Limited Warranty. I am concerned that the warranty may be voided as it states that it does not cover " products purchased through unauthorized distribution channels or internet sellers." I don't know how Amazon would be categorized. I guess I'll find out if the blanket fails in that time frame. One reviewer stated there is no one to contact if there is an issue, but the warranty registration card clearly states a website, email and phone number. So far the only gripe I have is that I paid $131 for the blanket on Feb. 13 and today, when I went to write this review the price is $87. I feel ripped off as far as that goes. With Amazon and the airlines it's always a gamble as far as pricing.

Good blanket. 20 settings for a full range of heating. Nice material, not too heavy or light. Seems to be of superior quality. Only one issue, which applies to nearly every electric lanket made and there are a bunch of them. I really dislike the electric controls. I hate the array of pushbuttons. An hour before I get i bed, I'll set it on 20 so it will be good and hot when I climb in. Then, when I'm actually going to get in I click it down to 5. The next night, back up to 20. Man, that's a lot of clicking. Can't I please just have a knob or little wheel that will crank it up or down? I don't need the digital numbers. Just give me a back-lit knob with numbers printed on it and I'll be fine with that. Electric blanketry doesn't really need such precision as digital numbering for each of 20 settings. Other than that, great product, good price (on sale) and quick ship from Amazon.

What was so pleasantly surprising about this blanket is its weight. So many of the ones I've had before have been flimsy and thin and thus slid off the foot of the bed. Not this one. The heat is even and extremely variable. I highly recommend this brand.

I love the blanket! I purchased in Jan 2022 and immediately had issues with the controller.At night - you can’t read the controls as there are dark - not lit up. You have to start touching all over the controller to find a button and then it’s usually the wrong one.Also, it has a THIN sheeting for the top of the controller and it’s breaking .Please redesign the controller.

I love the softness of this blanket. The first one I had lasted a little over 5 years before the wires apparently split inside with repeated washes. Aside from the color, I replaced it with the closest and near exact match through Amazon on August 18, 2022. I didn't even get to wash it once before the controller quit working! Luckily, I still had the old controller that fit and is still working on this last Beautyrest electric blanket purchased. Of course, it was right outside Amazon's 30 day window to return and I have yet to find Beautyrest honoring their claimed 'warranties' if not purchased directly from them. With that said, I will be leery and really have to consider if I will purchase a Beautyrest product in the future here, or anywhere ever again.Update: Only lasted 2 more months with my old controller. A much longer story short, I will not be purchasing any Beautyrest products again.

Purchased this awhile back and waited til now to review. Still works. I encourage others to read the manual before purchasing to ensure they know how to properly use.

I've been using this blanket for a few years, which also means it's been through a few winters. While the core functionality is pretty decent (preheat is nice, auto off timer is all good, etc) it has a fundamental problem - it's TOO warm.I hear you barking, big dog; how can it be TOO warm?!? Well, it has a range of 20 settings. If you set it to 20, you expect it to be hot, but if you set it to 1 it should just be slightly warming, right? Well even at its lowest setting, it's hot. Over the course of a chilly night, I have to turn it off because I'm sweating while it's set at 1. This means I often just leave it off, which makes it just a normal blanket (with weird wires running through it).As a normal blanket, it's too expensive. As an electric blanket, it doesn't have enough granularity in heat. It's in a weird middle ground and doesn't excel at anything, but it is quite helpful on frigid nights. Overall I don't think I can recommend this blanket unless you're somewhere very cold with subpar heating.

Turning it on a setting of 10 and a boost heat about 10 minutes before bed makes it so nice and warm. Heats up really fast using the boost. Don't need it on the rest of the night. Like the way that it is sewn in narrow strips down the length so that the heating coils don't move. The fleece isn't as soft and fluffy as our old blanket but it works really well. The old blanket (different company) took a long time to heat up. Very pleased overall
