Did not use cord
Lamp only a few years old so I used original cord when I replaced socket for new lampshade purchase. Kept cord, may use it for future projects. The only thing I disliked was the wiring. It’s not easy to discern neutral from live wires here. You have to feel for ridge to tell difference.

Great replacement cords for lamps
I love these replacement cords. They are very clear and long and reasonably priced. They make the lamps look even better and I did not expect that from a cord. They replaced older frayed cords. They were extremely easy to install and I expect them out outlive me! Don't hesitate to buy these cords. They are a wonderful purchase.
