Incredible work as always
Drew Hayes has ruined most fiction for me, I say this in the nicest way possible. He has crafted a universe unlike most I have read with characters so brutally real I often find myself forgetting they are works of pure fiction. His use of words and metaphors and the like is well honed and above all else incredibly entertaining, you will find yourself struggling to put down this incredible piece of work.I have rarely found characters based on my age group to be so relatable. They are complicated and multi-faceted to an intense degree, all while being exceptionally impossible.Incredible work as always Drew, I can't wait to see what your final has in store for us all.

Loving this series
I am enjoying these books so much. Vince is my current favourite but it's changed each book. The characters are so engaging and there is plenty of action for those who like that. They are long books but that's not a problem as they keep you enthralled to the end

The whole series is quite enjoyable
I have a dislike of the whole genre of books featuring 100's of so called & often comical super heroes, However for some reason the storyline of this book caught my fancy, If It hadn't my prejudices would have robbed of a thoroughly enjoyable series. Rarely do I say I'm really looking forward to the next (& I assume last) in the series, but in this case......

Fun...tasting adventure
Ok, not the type of book I would ever believe I actually would not only read but enjoy. I read the first on by accident and was hooked. The series has only gotten better. The characters brilliantly written and are like best friends you keep cheering for. Vince and Nick are my favourites but the others are close by. The plot has me thinking and then rethinking. It quick, subtle but as clear as mud. I got my villain, but keep changing the reasons whyI think its them.So why recommend, because the books are out of my comfort zone, yet I love them. The plot is obvious but then not, but always well pace and exciting. I want to read the next still because I care about what happens to the characters. Well done.

I absolutely loved this book
I absolutely loved this book, another great addition to the series. I am dying in anticipation for the next book and have bought his new book Corpies to hold me over. I cannot express enough just how incredible his writing is. Much better so many books currently available in stores/online. As the books have progressed Drew has given more depth to characters other than the powereds and this have created a interesting and detailed world. For me this is better than Harry Potter!

Just try it
This is a great great book. It deserves way more recognition than it gets. I constantly try to recommend this series to others but the premise sometimes makes people believe that the series may be childish. This could not be further from the truth. This series is in my top three of all time and is up there with the King Killer Chronicles by Patrick Rothfus and the Iain Bank Culture books. Give it a read!

Everything a Sequel should be
After two books of little more than character development (masterful that it was) and building of the mysteries in this setting, this proved to be the proof that the series had real legs to it. The stakes are raised, the constant refrain of the heroes gets some actual proof, and some of the more annoying aspects of the school set-up are swept aside. All in all this was well worth the buy. I'd heartily reccommend it to anyone, and if by some chance you're reading this revirw without having read the first two books then go do that and then come read this because it's lovely.

Awesome - where is year 4
All these books are incredible. I'm serious, the characters are well fleshed out and the books (although long, I think this is a good selling point) are easy to read and totally engaging.Buy these books. I'm just gutted I have to wait now for him to write the final installment

Amazing series
Let me tell you this, the plot is solid, awesome, inspiring and shows realistic situations in this science fiction setting that does not ramble about science so much as explaining the rules and following them through. All characters are important, all characters evolve, all acts have consequences and every detail affects the plot one way or another. The writting, even if aimed at teenagers or young people is of high quality, proper, detailed, and has the right amount of action, thinking, self-improvement and loosing up.

Intelligent and catching voluminous read.
I read the story about trice by now, and my verdict remains unchanged:A very hard to put down story about the insanity of a world with supers being real, told from multiple perspectives surround a hero certification program, its school and, most importantly, students. It has many layers and surprising twist, keeping it enternaing and even demanding for a readers mind.

Excellent value!
It's Year 3 and time for our (would-be) heroes to decide on their majors. Or our remaining heroes, anyway. Some of their choices are somewhat unexpected, but that just makes for more fun for the reader.Unravelling the conspiracy starts moving toward centre-stage in this volume. Normally, conspiracies bore me - they tend to be overly paranoid and unrealistic. (See X-Files for "how can it be a conspiracy if seemingly everybody in the world is in on it?") The conspiracy in the Super Powereds series is plotted as limited in scope, major but not world-shattering, and deep rather than wide. Surprisingly, by now Hershel/Roy - the 'tank'/strongman of the team - has become a really interesting, not to mention complex, character. For someone whose role is (quoting Warren Zevon) "to get hit and hit back", I'll admit that this came as a welcome surprise. In addition to the writing being (still) very good, the portions are also quite large. The high page count was, for this too-fast reader, a definite incentive to purchase!
