So CUTE!!
I haven’t had any issues like some of the reviews say. They work great and they’re super cute. Obviously they’re for decoration. They do put off a good amount of light, but not enough for reading or what not. They’re just supposed to be pretty and they are.

Good things come in small packages?
Just received mine. First impressions: they're attractive (although not actual Bell jars, but facsimiles). The tinting is just enough that the bulb isn't obvious, with a slightly reflective finish allowing for a warm glow (and the lid is shiny, too). The hanger portions seem sturdy enough for the weight of the jars. I'm impressed by the amount of light they provide considering the size (one might provide enough light for a coffee or end table, and maybe a pair for a 4-person dining table, but you'd need quite a few to use as space lighting), but I was nonetheless quite surprised at how small they are. I realize that dimensions are included in the product description but, in all honesty, I didn't pay much attention; I read "mason jar" and made an assumption, which I imagine others might also do. I think of the "standard" mason jar size as the ones you sometimes see used as drinking glasses: 16ou with ~3.5" lids; these are 12ou with 2.75" lids and only 5.25" tall. They are not large enough to put a standard bulb in. (I had planned to use a colored or flame bulb but neither will fit; a standard bulb is too wide to fit through the mouth of a jar, and an LED flame bulb is longer than a jar is tall.) The way the timer works is that you switch the light on and it will turn itself off after 6 hours, then it will automatically come on again the next day at the same time. So far, so good; the timer function is working perfectly after two nights. I can't say how quickly they'll go through batteries and bulbs, or how they'll hold up over time (although they've already made it through a major thunderstorm unscathed). My overall impression thus far is that it's a surprisingly nice product given the size but, considering the size, a tad too pricey. (I'd intended to order two more sets, but have decided against it because of the price tag.)

Look nice, but…
One out of the two didn’t work. Heard from the manufacturer and they corrected the issue.

Cool lights and a nice surprise
These are great little battery operated lamps that I decided to put in a dark area of my living room. I also discovered that these things will go off automatically at some point, which I happened to time perfectly I guess. They come on in the evening now when I originally set them up and stay on through our late evening television watching hours, even after we go to bed. But in the morning I noticed they were off. Pretty cool surprise for me because I didn't read that they had a timer on them when I originally purchased these. They can be pretty bright on the eyes if you stare at them. I'm thinking of inserting parchment paper in mine to block the intensity of the bulb filament so it just emits a nice glow.

Cute but inconsistent
I purchased these and thought they were cute but not quite bright enough so I ordered two more. The second set had one that was dimmer and one that is the correct brightness. This is really unfortunate given the price. I looked for a way to contact the seller but couldn’t find one. On the plus, I do like the timer option. They do come on at a set time and turn off after six hours. This way I don’t have to take them down each time I want to use use them.

Very Nice—much brighter than fairy lights
This review is for the mason jar amber lights. They arrived quickly, packaged well (wet box but that’s on the delivery service and it didn’t penetrate), the bulbs were attached but wrapped with cardboard inside to protect them. They require two AAA batteries each. The Amber selection doesn’t have a timer (I wish it did). It’s VERY bright, but after being on over 24 hours it dimmed a bit (which is when I took the photo). They’re very nice and as close to exactly what I wanted as I could find. I saw these lights offered on another site for quite a bit more. I’m ordering more as gifts—but trying the blue/clear with timer for that.

Updated after a month so dim...
Updared: This are now so dim you can't really see them after barely a month but just long enough for it to be too late to return them...so really expensive disposable lights...Original: as described, easy to set up. i didn't realize the time was so basic (turn it on at the time you want it on and it will turn on at that time everyday and stay on for 6 hours, off for 18 hours). super cute! seem pretty sturdy.
