Four Stars = I Like It
I bought one as a gift and received one as a gift during the 2016 holidays. The Plamko product is what it says it is: small and portable. The housing and lens are plastic. I am perfectly nearsighted but this device is helpful with reading small type (on objects such as computer components). The friend who I bought it for is delighted with the gift for the same reason as aforementioned. The item has no instructions, so there are a couple of points to note. First: the button for the light can be depressed in such a way that the illumination can be continuous and not dependent on having a finger applying constant pressure on the button itself. Second: make note of the proper orientation of the batteries when the time comes to replace them. There is noticeable distortion as one approaches the edges of the magnified field and I cannot vouch for the claims of true 3x, 6x magnifying power.

Light and easy to carry
I bought 2 of these products. They are easy to carry and use. The built in light is very helpful In dimly lit restaurants etc.It seems instructions have started to printed in barely perceptible print these products are a necessity.

Just what I was looking for
Perfect! I'm nearsighted and wear contacts so that I can see anything that's not right under my nose. When I have my contacts in, reading small print is an issue. This pocket magnifier solves that problem. The light on it is great too. Convenient size and everything.

good feel to this mag glass
this is special. I like it. Kind of surprised it didn't come in a little baggy because it's the kind of thing you want to carry in your bag. But we all have an extra baggie of some sort we can slip it in. Nice to have. Super LED light.
