Lily & Drew Small Casual Lightweight Mini Travel Backpack Purse with Top Handles of Microfiber Leather for Women (Nylon-Red)

I like the height of the back pack. I wish the bag was a little wider.The front zippered pocket is hard to get into. It has a flap of fabric covering it and it is not very wide. It would be better if the flap was removed and the pocket was the full width of the purse.The back zippered pocket is very shallow and tight so it isn’t very useful.The two purse handles are very useful and the main reason I got the purse. When traveling, some museums don’t allow back packs, but do allow purses, so I can tuck the back pack handles into the back pocket so it looks like a purse. When I leave the museum I can turn the purse into a back pack.It is a Lily & Drew purse so it should wear very well. I have had another Lily & Drew back pack that I have dragged around for years and it doesn’t show any wear!

I needed a place to shove everything on our Disney trip. This is very sturdy and a good size but I did have to thoughtfully put items in it. Is is compact for sure. But, I did get a metal water bottle, small purse, hand held fan and microfiber towel in it. Very sturdy. The front pocket is kind of hard to get in to due to the overlap zipper but I survived. So cute! My phone fit in the side pocket too!

I bought this backpack for a month-long trip to Europe. Overall, it feels sturdy and has served me well. The size is perfect as a day pack. There is have enough space for all the essentials, but it's small enough to not make one stand out so obviously as a tourist. One of the main things that sold me on the backpack over the Kånken was the amount of organizational compartments inside the backpack. It's great for travelling! Being organized is a cinch when there is a home for everything. I felt the YKK zippers were of good quality.Now my qualms with the bag. After the second day of wear (granted, my backpack was somewhat heavy that day), the left strap ripped and was hanging by a thread. In another 2 weeks or so of use, the inside seams came apart. At the end of my month, half of the right strap was loose. When I got home, I ended up cutting and sewing the straps as well as the interior lining, so hopefully, the bag will last me another trip. I think the makers of the bag should have reinforced the straps at where they attach to the bag. If they want to market the bag as one of good quality, that should be an area of focus. I really wanted this to be my Goldilocks travel backpack, but alas, it has disappointed me in the durability department. My quest in finding a durable mini travel backpack with built-in organization continues!Overall, it's a good bag for light and infrequent use and short trips, but I wouldn't recommend this for daily use or extended trips like mine. I will continue to use this bag for travel (I haven't been able to find anything similar in size with that many pockets inside for this price), but will I buy this bag again if it breaks? Not likely.Be advised, the backpack is NOT waterproof. I was caught in a torrential downpour and everything inside the pack was damp. If you take this to a place that's wet, make sure to wrap a plastic bag around it to protect it from water. The good thing is, because of its size, a regular grocery plastic bag will be more than enough to cover the backpack.

I've owned a 12" bestie bag for a while now and love using it for school to keep my back from hurting. I stumbled across this bag and was impressed by the padded shoulder straps and MULTITUDE of pockets this thing has. The OCD backpackers out there will love this bag!OUTSIDE - Zippers are YKK brand as promised in product description. Straps seem well made and fold up neatly with snaps at the top of the shoulders if you'd prefer to hold it by the top handle. Padding on straps distributes weight really well and I think it'll be more comfortable in the long run. Back "hidden" pocket fits a small wallet and my iPhone 8 snuggly. May not fit much more than that. Two outside pockets fit a small umbrella and my sunglasses case. If you really push, you might be able to fit a normal sized water bottle but it would be a tight fit.FRONT POCKET - Zipper is hidden under a flap of fabric that aesthetically looks great but makes opening the front pocket a tiny bit more difficult. Pocket is lined with same fabric as main compartment of bag. I am able to fit all of my daily essentials (comb, chapstick, earbuds, oil blotting sheets, etc) in there with no problem.MAIN POCKET - Inside fabric is really soft and seems really nice quality and not likely to fray (only time will tell). There are a ton of pockets, which I love. I'm pretty sure you'd be able to fit a 11" iPad Pro in the padded laptop sleeve but not anything bigger. Pictured is my iPad Mini 5 in the padded pocket. Two zippered pockets, four normal pockets, two side mesh pockets, and one of those keyring dangle things are also available. I was able to fit a 32oz water bottle in the main compartment but it stretched the bag and put pressure on my iPad, so it was removed. You might have better luck with a smaller bottle or one that is flat.OVERALL - Way better than those dumb Fjallraven Kanken bags everyone seems to love. This one is waterproof and has a lot of internal organization. The padded laptop sleeve alone makes it a worthy purchase. Not to mention the huge price tag difference.

I have been using this backpack off and on and really like how much it can hold. It does definitely get bulkier but the reason why I gave only 4 stars:- the back pocket is not deep enough to hold the most recent iPhone/Samsung Note vertically. You MUST lay down your smartphone to zip up the pocket. It’s not a dealbreaker and definitely doesn’t affect you if you have a smaller phone, but definitely a bit annoying if you do every time you reach in/out.

Just received mine today, and I must add that it came a week and a half early which is amazing!! I was looking for a good day trip sort of backpack. And although I love the colours for Fjallraven I just couldn't convince myself to spend that sort of money on the product. AND honestly, it is a better version of the Fjallraven Kanken in my opinion and here's why.........Why it deserves 4 stars:- so many compartments and pockets (I love pockets!!)- the perfect size for me, not too big but not too small- fits my LAPTOP (so excited when I found this out)- PERFECT for day trips- did I mention the pockets, yes, well I need to add this again because it helps so much to have a space for each item like phone, wallet, keys, pencils/pens, etc.Why is doesn't deserve 5 stars:- I can already tell that this won't last me forever, I'm guessing 2-3 years maximum which is fine because it's...- reasonably priced for the quality- I cannot fit a water bottle in the side pockets which is kind of what I expected, but it will definitely fit in the big compartment- DON'T force things in, if it doesn't fit than it doesn't fit, I say this because the zippers don't seem like the best quality and I feel if you overstuff the bag the zippers will breakOVERALL, I am so happy with my purchase and I am definitely going to recommend this bag to my friends and family (my mum already wants to steal mine...)
