Ripstop Nylon Waist Pack

Great bag for fieldwork. Straps allow you to swing the bag around to the front to grab things or create a nice working surface. The zippers hung quite a bit during the first several outings, but seem to be getting better as the fabric around them breaks in. Fabric is tough, and hasn't ripped even though I've drug it through riparian briars and over sharp rocks stream-side. Typical Filson quality, which is good.Really nice design for the most part, but the waist pouches that sit on the sides could use some help in later versions. One side allows you to tuck the extra wait-strap material behind the pouch out of the way, but the other side does not allow this (wish it did). Size is really nice, and the pouches sit open when I try to access while wearing without allowing the contents to fall out.Very glad I purchased.
