Really great show, loved it, though a couple of dvd issues
I really loved the show, Inuyasha is likely my favourite anime of all time, and the dvds gave me such an interesting viewing experience. There are extras like interviews with the voice actors on the season 7 disc, character connection webs, and textless openings for each of the intros. My only complaint would be that at least two of the dvds were scratched enough to cause the entire episode to stop and I had to take out the disc, put it back in, then skip to a minute after the stop happened. However this only occurred on 2 of the 167 episodes so not a massive problem, and no guarantee that this is the case for everyone.Other than that minor issue, I thought that this was a great buy, and while it may have seemed expensive at first, back when these were brand-new, the dvds would go for at least US$40 per season, so not actually bad pricing.I recently got a friend hooked on the show as well, and I’d fully recommend doing the same, and the dvd version makes the whole experience much more enjoyable and memorable.

Most Excellent!
The media could not be loaded. Well if this box set included a box to hold the dvds I didn’t get one…instead I got all 7 dvds containing the entire series of inuyasha separately but wrapped together (maybe that’s how this box set was sold?) that means the entire inuyasha series season 1 - season 7 (not including the then later series the final act or the 4 movies so make sure you get those elsewhere they’re amazing!)Besides that It’s all here! The quality is the same as you’ll get from popular streaming services at the moment; unless you go for the now releasing blu rays that haven’t completed just yet this set is the best deal! You can view the DVDs at 1920x1080 HD 60p if your tv can output that and or upscale I’m sure. That’s for the tech heads everyone else shouldn’t worry as the quality is just perfect for this old school anime (it will look like it looks on popular services like Hulu or Netflix - on these DVDs)Settings allow for Sub or Dub so English or Japanese audio with subtitles for both; by the way this is the first time I ever hear the original Japanese intro for inuyasha, even season one doesn’t have it that way on streaming services so I’m sure for fans this is a plus. I read a review on here stating it was all English?! Yeah no! That’s wrong it’s all in the menu (unlike the final act or movie menus that the change has to be done in menu when watching these changes can be done before watching in the title menu on these DVDs so it’s simpler to navigate)I uploaded pictures of the first season being played on my tv from the dvd and pics of what the DVD’s look like. Any toonami heads out there id grab these dvds.I legit was paying a subscription just to be able to watch inuyasha in my spare time; I just saved a lot of money with these DVDs, and now I can watch it whenever I kick back.

Great comedic & yet serious series around a half-demon and a reincarnated priestess.
I would watch this series on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network and really enjoyed it. Then finally they showed the “Final Act”, which is the final 25 episodes.. I had some episodes on my DVR until my receiver went bad. It’s a fun series that pits a a revived half-demon dog Inuyasha with a modern day Japanese girl who fell through a well pulled down by a demon.Apparently this Kagome is seen as a reincarnation of Inuyasha’s prior love Kikyo and is secretly in possession a Shikon Jewel. Which is later shattered and they need to find the pieces to restore it.Inuyasha has a full demon brother Sesshomaru and they despise each other. Inuyasha has a rough personality and a sense of compassion as well and comes off quite a few times saying things out of context. He meets up with another demon Shippo, a demon slayer Sanyo, and a lecherous woman chasing monk Miroku. They are battling mostly a vile demon Naraku that manipulates others and creates different characters from his demonic aura. Naraku is a half-demon as well, who wants to have the jewel himself and become an all powerful full demon.Lots of funny sarcastic humor in this series especially with Inuyasha and a wolf demon Koga as they both are infatuated with Kagome.Jacken, who is Sesshomaru’s aide is quite comical himself as he sometimes says more than he should and usually gets pulverized with a few lumps on his head. It’s a fun series to watch all the way through with an interesting continual storyline they sees various characters change and grow throughout the series. I really enjoy it and happy that I bought the entire set.

Complete series
Picture and sound is nice and clear. I’m glad the set comes with the seasons split up, I once purchase this series where the episodes were put on discs but not divided into seasons. The discs feature different colors per season and the also have an episode selection on each menu so I can pick up where I left off.Would definitely recommend this set for those Inuyasha lovers!

Great quality for the price point
I was considering buying the blu-ray collection but after reading about the pan shots being jittery, I opted for this DVD set instead and I don’t regret it! I’m super content with the image quality and I love that it fits the entire screen. The dvd cases feel like they can easily break if not careful with them, and I have yet to play all discs (I’m on season four) but so far only three have skipped on just one episode each—nothing mayor though. Some discs look scratched but they’ve been playing. Other than that, I don’t have any issues with this set. Fingers crossed that the rest of the discs aren’t damaged and play just fine!

This is a decent anime
It's mostly fun to watch. It keeps the Ocean voice actors the whole way through, so naturally the voices are awesome. Harking back to an age where there were actually epic deathmatches in animes where at least half the protagonists are male. (Contrast Fairy Tail or Pokemon) It can get quite violent but there's not a lot of mature content (making it all the more appealing to me). And Inuyasha (Richard Ian Cox, voice of Zaacro in the original Dragonball Z and Snails in My Little Pony) is quite the tsundere, if you're familiar with the term. Now, I was almost fooled by one thing - Some lists say Episodes 1-167 are Seasons 1-6 and The Final Act (168-193) is the seventh season, so I assumed the "Season 7" in this set was the Final Act. In this box set, Seasons 1-7 are actually Episodes 1-167 and the Final Act is sold separately, so Final Act is really Season 8. If you're getting this, you'll need the Final Act too, that gives closure to the series where I read Season 7 doesn't.All in all, it got here faster than it said it would and sold at a decent price, especially for anime.
