Blackburn Outpost Seat Pack & Dry Bike Bag

It was perfect for my 3 week Ireland tour. I didn't really want to put a rack on my bike, so this was a great replacement. Easy to put on and take off the bike. I stuffed all my clothes into the bag and carried my bike tube, tools, lock, and CO2 in my front handlebar bag (because you cannot have the regular under-seat bag for tubes etc. with this outpost bag). I will definitely use it again on other bike trips.

Great pack. Only problem is it needs a vent to get air out when you roll the edges tight.

Used this on a 140 mile gravel ride - muddy logging roads, rough terrain, through creeks. It performed flawlessly. Didn't even notice it, even when out of the saddle up hills. Held my one person tent and some clothes easily. Hosed it off when i got home and it looks brand new. Really a great system.

We used this seat pack this past weekend on our first overnight bikepacking trip and it worked perfectly. We were able to fit quite a bit into the bag. The bag did not sway or bounce around while riding down gravel roads. It was easy to put on and take off the bike. It worked great for us, we have no complaints.

Everything stays dry and it is very adjustable. The only complaint I have is the protective portion that rests against the seatpost and top of the seat stays scuffs the paint. You will have some tail wag when it's full, but this is common with all seat bags. I just love the dry bag option on this particular product.

Amazing product! Usefull, light and when you installed on the bike, do not change your riding. Its dried for raining days and you can put lots of stuffs inside! Do recommend it..

Great product with great build quality. Can't wait to take it oit for It's first trip!

Vorweg: kaufte den "Blackburn Outpost Seat Pack" vor 14 [Monaten]. Er kam schnell und unbeschadet an.Da ich im Jahr mehrere Mehrtages Radtouren (mit Rennrad und MTB) mache, habe ich etwas variables gesucht und mit dieser Tasche gefunden.Sie lässt gut an allen Rädern montieren und aufgrund ihres Designs (nach oben aufbauend) auch gut geeignet für Vollgefederte Räder (streift nicht am Hinterrad).Leider muss ich nach ca. einem Jahr sagen, dass der Halfter Beschädigungen aufweist. Auf den Fotos kann man erkennen das die oberen Fixierungen für den Drybag, beide eingerissen sind. Es ist leider nur noch eine Frage der Zeit bis sie komplett durchreissen und der Drybag nicht mehr am Fahrrad gesichert ist. Dem muss ich natürlich vorbeugen, weil das während einer Mehrtagesradtour (z.B. 1 Woche) verherend ist, und mir einen Ersatz zulegen. Das ist natürlich bei ca. €100,- was die Tasche gekostet hat mehr als Schade.

Bought this in preparation for cycling Lands End to John O'Groats. Couldn't be happier with it, it's been used in all weather, and kept everything dry perfectly.Easy to attach, and adjust, I'd recommend tightening the straps after riding 10km or so to make sure if anything specific shifted with road buzz it still stays tight.Daisy chains on the back of the holster are good for attaching lights or strapping extra small bits of kit, such as a travel mug.Fit my sleeping pad, tent and majority of my clothes so good size.Wore the paint away on the back of my aluminium seat post a littlw, but I stuck on some off cuts of bar tape between the two and that solved the problem

Ottimo set, sacca stagna molto capiente e supporto per tenerla sottosella in resistente cordura. Ottima per bikepacking, poiché a fine giornata si può staccare la sacca dalla bici lasciando il suporto attaccato, darle una pulita e portarla in tenda, o albergo.Ci vuole un po' di pazienza a tenerla bella dritta come nelle immagini pubblicitarie, ma con la pratica e tendendo opportunamente le cinghie si può fare, altrimenti resta "imbananata" verso il basso.Vi preciso che l'ho testata su una MTB front da 29" con telaio da 23" (XL), quindi coi telai più piccoli o con una full non escluderei che possa arrivare a toccare la ruota posteriore durante qualche discesa impegnativa

I bought this to use on a weekend trip on my road bike. My bike doesn't have a rack (nor did I want one) and I didn't want to take a rucksack as that tires you out more and gives you sweaty back. This bag worked really well and I was very pleased.I got a pair of canvas shoes, some clothes to wear off the bike for the evening, a couple of innertubes, tire levers, small lock, basic tolietries, few snacks all in the bag relatively easily. It rained constantly for 5 hours on the first day but all my stuff was bone dry so I can vouch for the waterproofness of the drybag.When you get out the saddle, the bag dose swing from side to side a bit but I didn't actually feel it too much and so it didn't really effect the handling. I climbed over 18,500 ft in those 2 days (and was out the saddle a lot!) but the swinging of the bag never bothered me and usually I didn't even realise.There is a slight bit of wear where it rubbed against the seat post but that is my only negative and not particularly bad.

【使用環境】・1日200km程度の日帰りライド、連泊・CAAD OPTIMO Tiagra 48サイズ【利点】他の製品と違いドライバック（中のバック）が分離できるので、手荷物だけ詰めて持ち運べたり、輪行時に取り外したりといった使い方がしやすいのが利点だと思います。私はテント泊に使用していますが、テント内でのみ使用するシュラフやマット、寝間着などを入れてテント内にそのまま持ち込めるので重宝しています。長野へ行った際に雪の中をライドした際にも中身が濡れることはなく、バックの中でボトルが漏れた際も外へ漏れ出さなかったので防水性はそこそこあると思われます。【注意点】中身を詰めすぎると後ろの方が垂れ下がってタイヤと接触する可能性があります。私は初めて使用した際に100㎞近くタイヤと接触したまま走ってしまったため、外のカバーが擦れてしまいました。（穴は空きませんでしたが）接触した状態でも走れなくはないですが、摩擦によるブレーキがかかるのがストレスです。いろいろ試行錯誤した結果、サドルを高めに設定してシートピラーを長くすると自然とバックの角度があがるので、タイヤとの接触は減りました。ただ、サドル高を上げると言ってもポジションを出したうえでバイクを購入していると思いますので、限度がありますね...【結論】商品とは離れますが、フレームを買うときは身長でサバを読まない。(適正サイズ内で)小さめのフレームを買って後からパーツで調整した方が、フレーム重量も軽く、段々と前傾を深く調整できるので良いといったところでしょうか。商品に関しては、値段の割に大きな不満もなくいい買い物だったと思います！
