What's the expiration date?

Product does NOT have a "Manufactured on..." nor an "expiration" date.

Pasteurization is often not listed on labels.. The manufacturer answered the question in the first answer. Some kinds are pasteurized, some not. There are unpasteurized Miso brands here that have stamps on the jar and advertise it as such. Even though fermented products may not need it, most everything in the US is pasteurized. Pasteurization destroys the living organisms in miso that are beneficial, like probiotics etc.
