I bought some of the cheaper MFD board floating shelves off amazon earlier this year trying to save a few bucks. They looked alright in dim lighting but they looked so cheap & cheesy during the day. I finally decided to swap them out with real wood and I’m glad I did. These are so nice - solid wood, heavy, sturdy, and beautiful. Installation was so much easier than the cheaper MFD boards too. The mounting bracket is thick steel with plenty of screw holes so you won’t have to drill your own.If you’re balking at the price and considering the cheaper alternatives, I recommend making the investment and go with these. These will last forever and are works of art on their own. They enhance the richness of the room whereas the cheap MFD shelves make the room feel cheap & cheesy.

We were looking for something sturdy and versatile for where it could be mounted — I needed to mount this under a stairway where the studs aren’t necessarily “centered” around where the shelf would be installed.The mounting system is really simple and easy to use — it’s very similar to the “hanging closets” and the bracket works for any wall and gives you a ton of flexibility. It was far superior to the standard brackets with two rails that you get for floating shelves. And stronger too!Install was a breeze and now I have a great floating shelf that is really sturdy!

Well packaged. Beautiful wood and color. Easy to understand, color instructions. Mounting system that’s easy to make your shelf level. Once the mount it’s anchored, you can shift the shelf left and right to get the perfect spacing before securing the shelf to the mount. This is handy if you’re hanging multiple shelves. I’d highly recommend these shelves.
