The media could not be loaded.  One of our neighbors was giving away a CRT television. I searched for an adapter to connect our Super NES classic that would convert from HDMI 2 AV cables. I've uploaded a video to display the results. We're very happy with the purchase.

Thanks to this handy little device I am finally able to use my Chromecast on my girlfriends older big screen TV that has no hdmi slot. Picture quality is as good as you can get without an actual hdmi slot. Only reason I've rated 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is the fact that it does not include a AC plug for its USB power cable which frankly it could really use.

This worked great to start when I bought it in July 2017. Used on older tv with firestick. It stopped working off and on, you had to unplug firestick after use and then it would work the next time. After a bit that didn't work anymore, it would return to amazon fire screen page not allowing you to load a show. Now the screen continually scrolls up over and over and never stops. No longer able to use.

I got this as part of my rather unusual setup for turning my ultra versatile DMC-GH3 camera into a makeshift webcam. My camera cannot be used directly as a webcam, that I've seen. However, since my camera has HDMI out and I already had an SD-only TV tuner, I just needed a way to convert HDMI to RCA. It works very well for this purpose and I can video chat with my friends quite nicely. So far, I have yet to encounter any issues. Interestingly enough, I don't need to connect a USB cable in for power.

Good price

I used it to plug in an HDMI Roku stick into a phono jack TV. Works great, good price. I rated picture quality as acceptable, but that might be because my tv is old and doesn't have great resolution. I did have to provide a USB power plug block. The USB cable is provided though.

First off, it does work but with a few caveat's: When I connected my fire stick to this thing it got super hot, I kept getting messages popping up on the screen telling me this as well. When I used the little HDMI extender that comes with the fire stick it didn't get as hot and I stopped getting that message. Second, after a few minutes it started flashing and then disconnected. I can reconnect it but it randomly does it again. Sometimes it will work for 30 minutes straight and other times it will only stay connected for a minute or so.
