BABY'S BUCKET Book

I use the other bucket filling books in my PreK classroom. I was so happy to see they had a baby version! I purchased one for our house and one for baby’s classroom for his birthday book. It is simple and labels emotions. It’s exactly what I was hoping for!

This is my twins' favorite book (they are 10 months old). It's very, very short, and that's actually why we like it so much - we can actually get through it! I think the short length is a plus.I love the Bucket message, even though the "boo boo on the knee" is a liberal interpretation of bucket-dipping in the other books...but I suppose you couldn't really put someone being mean to the baby in this book.So, anyway, I love this book because it's short, sweet, and a great start to a really important message.

18 month old loves the book

Baby's bucket book is a great book for babies. I have all the other children's bucket books to read to my grandchildren. I was happy to be able to purchase this one as a board book for babies too.The message of this book and all the other bucket books is wonderful. I also got the adult version for my sons.Reading these books will help make a wonderful world.

We love Carol McCloud's Bucket series and Baby's Bucket Book allows your little one to hold and look at it on there own. Story line is simple for a baby. Bright colors and pictures that attract their attention. Start children off right by showing them how to be a bucket filler.

A sweet book for my granddaughter to learn how her bucket is filled, but especially a good reminder to parents that children need their baskets so full that that when others poke holes, the child is not defeated. Love the chunky feel for little hands.

These are wonderful for promoting empathy.

Questa serie di libri per ora esiste solo in inglese, i vari titoli sono adatti ad età diverse e questo è il più semplice e il più adatto per i bambini più piccoli.L'idea è semplice e molto bella: ogni persona ha un secchio che si riempie con l'amore e la "luce", e cioè con tutte le emozioni positive che proviamo e che gli altri provano per di noi, le buone azioni, le dimostrazioni di interesse ecc.Il secchio di ognuno si riempie un po' ogni volta che prova emozioni positive o rende felici gli altri, e si svuota un po' quando succedono cose brutte o ha dei comportamenti negativi. In questo libretto il bimbo ad esempio impara a camminare e l'orgoglio che prova riempie un po' il suo secchio, la gioia di papà lo riempie ancora un po'... ma quando cade e si fa male si svuota... per fortuna un bacio della mamma lo riempie di nuovo.Il libro ha una breve frase per ogni pagina ed è in rima, è di facile comprensione e molto adatto per chi vuole che il proprio figlio familiarizzi con altre lingue. Mio figlio ha imparato subito ad identificare il bambino e il secchio, e pian piano a comprendere tutta la storia anche in inglese.In futuro prenderò anche la versione per bambini più grandi, che spiega il concetto in maniera più chiara e completa.Dal punto di vista tecnico, il libro è in cartone rigido abbastanza spesso e di buona qualità. Disegni belli e colori vivaci. Dimensione circa 15x15cm.Nel complesso lo consiglio.

Easy to read and the babies love it , but it could be a bit bigger.

This is a great introduction to the bucket filling idea for toddlers! My 2 year old son loves this story and requests it often!
