I purchased this for my wife so she could reach the higher shelves in the house.Honestly, it looks nicer and is lighter than I expected. It folds very flat and slides into the small gap between our fridge and wall where no one will see it while it is stored.After she said she liked the ladder, I bought a second one to keep on the 2nd floor so she wouldn't need to haul the first one up and down the stairs.I'm a larger guy (6' tall, 260lbs) and although it will probably hold me if I stood on it 'as intended', I worry it might buckle if I were to lean off to a side to repair something or were lifting something like a ceiling fan. Best to use a heavy duty ladder for those kind of tasks as this ladder is a bit narrow and better suited for getting small things from shelves and perhaps changing a light bulb.

Bought it specifically for our pantry bc I didn’t want an eyesore ladder. The color is not gold but more of a muted gold-ish bronze color. It is VERY light weight and perfect for what we need it for. However, the sturdiness is a little “iffy”, and I’m not so sure I’d trust it with over 200lbs. It has hard plastic caps on the bottom instead of rubber (which would definitely help with the slipping and wiggles). It folds up nice and flat (and very smoothly), no awkward locks/latches, and no pinched fingers... just be SURE to fold it out entirely or you’ll have a shock when you’re on it and it jolts all the way open.

This ladder is perfect for my needs, which is to access items stored on the shelving I've installed above my washer and dryer in the laundry/utility room. It is light and very easy to open, and the steps are nice and deep making you feel very secure. It is meant to be a lightweight utility ladder though, so if you are expecting "heavy duty", you'll probably want to select a different ladder. I ordered the pale gold and it is really cute, but as others have mentioned, mine arrived with a fair amount of scratches. They are not super noticeable and considering mine is in a laundry room I wasn't too worried about it, but if you are planning to use this as shelving, you'll probably be disappointed. The packaging was good and in tact so I'm guessing this is a mfg defect. Overall I am happy with this purchase

Only giving four stars because of the minor cosmetic imperfections. But all-in-all, this ladder is PERFECT. I was pleasantly surprised when it was fully assembled out of the box, I immediately opened it and got on it. I was worried it wasn’t going to be very sturdy, because of how light and minimal it is, but at least for someone my weight (150) it was perfectly stable even at the highest step. I would totally recommend this ladder.

We are very happy with this ladder. We bought it just before Christmas and used it for cleaning, painting touch ups, and decorating all around including our 10 foot tree. It's very light and easy for the wife to move around. It folds very flat and stores easily against a closet wall. I weigh about 230 and it's sturdy enough for me. I am very happy to have this rather than the bulky, heavy commercial grade ladders we looked at first.

Came banged up, missing three of the 4 rubber feet which made it very unstable. Not worth the price. I returned it the next day and bought a real ladder for the same price and it's much more sturdy and about the same amount of weight. I wouldn't have paid more than $15 for this had I been able to see it in person before buying.

this is a beautiful ladder. I wish that it would lock when you close it although I have not experienced it opening on me when I close it. It is sturdy but I can feel some movement occasionally when I move on it.
