High and narrow
I got to wear my DMs for the first time in three years of heel pain. I have specialist insoles from the podiatrist that are too wide and too high to fit in my favourite boots and so I wear wide work boots to compensate. I was hopeful that trying to bulk up my heel with gel pads would allow me to wear my favourite footwear. Alas no, not really. I've managed a day at the desk job with the beige top pad and two gel pads and my heels were begging to get out! That's not a criticism of the pads just the story of my feet. These gel pads are narrow in width and have one side with glue to peel and stick either to your footwear or to another pad to build up the height. You need to know how high you want to be because try as I did, you can not put one pad upon another without gluing them together. I tried this whilst grocery shopping in the hope of discovering my ideal height and found after a very short period I was uncomfortable and struggling to walk. Taking my boot off I discovered that the pads had slipped around in my boots (with the backing peeling off) and were no longer piled on top of one another. So they have to be stuck down! The gel pads seem well made and each offers support that can be built up to a reasonable height of about an inch.Using these I have found I felt as if I had to put effort in to balancing within my boots so I'm guessing these are better in narrower footwear. I will try them again but sadly I no they are not my cure.My only gripe is that the base of the pad also has to be stuck to the footwear like a permeant addition so in theory they are not interchangeable between footwear or for that matter in height once stuck down.

Bukihome Gel Heel Supports
Mr Random has suffered periodically from Plantar Fasciitis over the past few years, and was curious to see how these worked. The items consist of 4 heel cushions for each foot, three of these are made of plastic and one of fabric. The heels have a sticky back, which you insert into the shoe once you peel off the cover.Although he stated that they were generally comfortable, with the fabric having the edge here, the length and width were very small. These would therefore suit people with smaller sized feet (Mr R's are a whopping UK size 11!). He also noticed one of the heels began to shift place in one of his trainers after a while because the diminutive size meant it had nothing to hold it against. I also think they would be more a preventive device for fasciitis suffers rather than a cure, as when the heel inflames I don’t think the heel would be soft enough to prevent any pain? Therefore, 3 out of 5. Good idea in principle, but not suitable for the larger footed person of which all members the Random family are!

Narrow, but well-made, soles are self-stick, heels are loose
The only reason that these didn’t get five stars is that they are slightly narrow, and short. They won’t provide cushioning for most male feet, and were just big enough for my female size sevens. They consist of heel cushions in a wedge shape, and long pieces to be placed along the length of the foot with a self- stick backing. They are much narrower than those available in pharmacies, or even in UK pound shops, although they are significantly better quality than Pound shop items.I would have liked them to have been wider, I have very wide feet, and did feel the edge of these as I was wearing them.If you are a woman with a very narrow feet, looking for extra cushioning, then these are a good choice. If you are a man with small narrow, feet then you could easily use these to give you a little extra height when wearing shoes. Other than these, they won’t meet your needs

Able to layer up to suit, which I like
As part of my search for something to help my recently developed heel pain, I sent for these. There are 8 pieces, and they are sticky on the bottom so that you an affix them to your shoes. This is both a plus and a minus, as obviously they can only be used on one pair of shoes if you need to use all of the layers. If you don't, then more than one pair can be adapted to help. I've used 2 layers in one of my everyday round the house shoes, which I am wearing more and more these days due to lockdown! I find that raising the heel does ease the pain, so I'm happy with these. Decent price, very comfortable.

Useful for building up shoes
Got these for my mum who's in her 80s. She has one leg longer than the other and usually she is allowed to get three pairs of shoes altered a year through the NHS. They build up one heel and sole on each pair for her. However this year due to the pandemic she has been unable to have this done. Whilst these are not a permanent medical solution they have helped her out. As you can build up one section on top of another you can adjust them to suit. They are well made from soft gel and are comfortable.

It works with top and one pad
I found it working with one pad with the top fabric layer, anything thicker than that becomes uncomfortable to wear after awhile. The gel pads can be adhere together but they do slip after awhile and became out of alignment, and also your heel will be too high for your shoes. The pads are quite comfortable as an extra protection to the heels, for anything higher than one pad thick I would think a one-piece pad (opposed to layered) would be a lot more comfortable.

Narrow
The cushions are soft and supportive they're quite narrow though so don't fit the width of my shoes. The stackable function is easy to manage, there are 3 extra additions with a total of 1" extra height, you should know how much extra height you want to add since you would need to peel off before reapplying, they can slide around a bit in the shoe if you haven't applied with enough force because of the space on the sides.

Good quality
Great quality and seems to be thick also now I don’t know if that’s going to make you seem taller or notThe material is very softWell made does support the heel and feels well in my shoe and I’m a size 5I still need to walk and try them out but worth a shot !The gel is very soft to the touch which is a good thing ! And gives me a good cushion on my feet
