This stuff is amazing. I have a tendency to get bored with my hair color, and every once in a while I will go against my better judgment for the sake of fashion and instead of waiting for my current color to fade, just strip it instead. You'd think I'd know by now that I stand gratification often comes with consequences and sacrifice. Well, after this last color swap, which I brilliantly felt compelled to do at about 3:15 in the morning two weeks ago, I immediately knew upon rinsing that I had just pushed my poor hair over the edge. I could see the damage when I fluffed my hands through and watched tiny little, broken pieces of hair fly off my head and sink to the floor like little blonde, fluffy tears.I used the treatment last night. The first step is runny, like water. I poured a bit into my hand, and most of it went down the drain. Wasted product is wasted money, I want gonna play that game. I almost grabbed a color bowl and brush, but decided to try something else first, because I don’t have time for that. And by time I mean the patiennce. I carefully put the packet down and grabbed a funnel, an empty spray bottle and poured it in. I sprayed the product into my hair and combed it through. Much easier than wrestling a packet, a liquid product, and my hair all at once. In addition to just being easier, I felt this was the safer route to go considering the small bit of product I did get on my hands stung my cuticles and really stung a small scratch from my rude cat. Not sure which ingredient caused it, but I was surprised the packaging didn’t recommend wearing gloves.I let my hair air dry last night and styled it with my flat iron this morning. The first difference I noticed was how much smoother and easier the plates glided over my hair. I can often feel the roughness of my most damaged areas because any amount of buildup product on my flat iron will "catch" the roughed up cuticle. No catching this morning. I am currently floofing my hair....No breakage. Like, zero. No sad blonde tears. I am not surrounded by a hair-nado. I am not adding to the graveyard of sad, sacrificed strands that I should probably sweep off my bathroom floor. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!I didn't expect the stuff to suck but I didn't expect it to be blessed by some ancient Goddess of damaged hair either.Ordering the full size as soon as I submit this review.

I’ve used for years

I have curly hair and had recently gotten highlights for the first time. A couple of weeks after I decided to straighten my hair and that’s when I noticed my curls were not as defined as they used to be. They were also frizzy and tangled easily. After using this product my curls were defined again and felt so healthy. Would definitely repurchase!

The moon one is before and the smug one is after. There's really little visible change but I can definitely notice that my hair holds its natural wave much better now -- the after pic is my hair after I've slept on it all night. But not by as much as I would have hoped. Also, the smell is not remotely as bad as some describe so will definitely use this in the future.

I never ever write reviews and I felt compelled to leave some praise for this wonderful product. I have fine, colored 2c/3a curly hair and was experiencing immense breakage and shedding. My frizz was out of control and I decided that I wanted to add a protein treatment to my hair. I was beyond impressed with this product. It was so easy to use and my hair had NO frizz, amazing shine and bouncy curls after one use! I got so many compliments I knew I had to come and write a good review after. Do yourselves a favor and go buy this product if your curls are needing a bit of pampering, and for the price it is unbeatable!

I am so thankful for this product!!! I used it before I went to the hair salon and I’m happy I did because some people can relate, I was victim to the putting perm in the shampoo trick to make your hair more manageable. I know for a fact my hair would’ve been gone if I didn’t do this treatment before. I just had some breakage and had to cutt about 2 inches off but overall my hair is still intact. I know the product helped because the same thing happened to my friend and her hair fell out (same hair texture and thickness).

I got this because I saw it was recommended for heat damage in the natural hair community and wayyy cheaper than olaplex. I didn't know the hair mask was soooo liquidy so when I opened it some spilled out and the moisturizer said the moisture would remain in your hair but you have to was it out after 2 minutes?? So of course that didn't do much for me either. Glad I found this sample size before buying the whole bottle though

I have naturally curly 3b hair that's had years and years of color and harsh treatment. This has left my hair thinner and damaged. After deciding to go natural, I've chopped off a lot of it and started using these protein packs after the recommendation of a stylist. My hair feels so much healthier and my curls are more defined after each use. I try to use it around the time I'm applying color and I've noticed more growth and thickness and less hair fall.

Stopped the breakage like it said it would. Very good product. My hair was practically coming out at the roots prior to using this and it has completely stopped
