That it works well in the bathroom
Would have been better if it swivelled but as it is in the bathroom it needs to be waterproof! But in every other respect it works very well and was just what was required!!

Excellent touchscreen, responsive remote, but setup is a pain and there are technical limitations
On paper, this television has so much promise. It looks good, and is feature-rich. It is low wattage: 60 Watts according to the label. The images are good; not very sharp, but the colour contrasts are acceptable. It has a good selection of connection options. It is very heavy, and while it comes with an installation bracket, this is loosely fitted, so if your hands slip while you are lifting it (even out of the box!), you may find yourself holding the bracket and your expensive television crashing to the floor. There is a wet-looking seal around the television under the bracket which will alarm you, as your first impression will be that the television had been damaged in transit and is leaking as a result.Make no mistake - this is primarily a television. It is only effective as a mirror if you install it above the sink, which is NOT where the majority of the listing's images show it being used. It would also be more effective as a mirror if it had a demisting function as well. It does not.Speaking of which: if I paid £759 for a television, I would be pretty miffed to find that NO batteries were included for the remotes. Two remotes are provided. One remote requires a CR2032 battery, but the box in which it was enclosed says it needs a CR2025 battery. The battery compartment was so difficult to open - even with a coin as the literature recommends - that I was glad that a tool had been included for this purpose. That is, until I discovered that it was ineffective due to its design. The bottom fits into the slot, but (a) the slot is so shallow that the took kept popping out and (b) the top is so tiny that even my small fingers found it difficult to grip it - it is too short to enable a proper grip which would provide decent leverage. In the end, I had to get a pair of plyers and use it to grip the tool and painstakingly turn the very tightly wedged cover in order to get it off. My fingers were sore after the ordeal. Not an auspicious start. The waterproof remote control has many buttons but the main ones are not placed in the most convenient locations. The second remote is not mentioned in the manual. It requires two AAA batteries (also not provided). The television does not respond to it. I have figured out that it is to be used for some sort of voice and mouse control, but there are no setup instructions for this, so I shall have to keep doing research and testing to see what happens. The instruction manual is very thin and very basic and only good for advice on the physical installation of the unit. You are much better off figuring things out by trial and error (you won't have much of a choice anyway). The manual appears to be a hodge-podge of instructions for different versions of the television, which means that it is highly unhelpful indeed. In this price bracket, customers do not expect to be told that their screens may differ from what is in the manual. In several cases, the difference was significant, so I was left to figure things out on my own; this was the situation from start to finish. It took nearly three days to work through the setup procedures, because sometimes the chosen settings would reset themselves to the default if the television was switched off, then on again. It turns out that even if you are connected to the Internet, the television will not use the network settings for time and date unless you have also established a Bluetooth connection. Nowhere in the manual does it say this. The touchscreen is excellent. Very responsive, no lag whatsoever. I am very impressed with this. The waterproof remote is also responsive, much better than many remotes which I have used with certain streaming services. The Bluetooth audio only works in Android mode - so I can't sit and quietly watch television with the audio coming through my earbuds if having a late night bath. The minute I switch from Android (HDMI 2) to Antenna, I hear "Disconnected". There is no way to add a Bluetooth device in television mode - the settings do not allow for the selection of different audio devices. Even so, the Bluetooth connection drops the minute I attempt to listen something. The audio via the headphone jack did not start to work until Day 3 of the setup. And so far, only in television mode. Try as I might, I could not hear a thing, even at high volumes - it just mysteriously began to work, but only in television mode. There has been no sound from Youtube - either via Bluetooth or Headphone jack or the television's own speakers. Because I began the setup in Android, I initially assumed that the television's speakers were faulty. The sound from the television's speaker(s) is adequate - but only works in television mode, not on Android. I found it odd that several of the audio features were greyed out - including Surround Sound. The listing gave the impression that there was a built-in TV aerial - you do have to connect one. The auto tuner eventually worked fine. The Android platform is not customisable. In fact, it hangs when an app is installed and you select the option to pin it to the front page. This means that you have to go into the app folder to find the one you just installed. Fair enough, though annoying. It takes several attempts to install an app and several attempts to browse for anything. I had much more luck after installing Firefox, but both this and the built-in Chrome would frequently fail to load pages ("Not found"), claiming no network, despite a very strong Internet connection signal showing at the top of the screen. After several attempts to install my VPN (for Android TV), I was first told that it was not compatible - even though a login screen was presented. When the login process finally began to work - I had to scan a QR code to facilitate the login - it became repeatedly stuck on the "getting things ready" screen. I have still not managed to log into my VPN and have it connect and as a result I am very wary about putting my personal details into any site or app on this television. It is good that it has some storage, but 64 GB is a small amount in this price range. It should be at least 128 GB and ideally 256 GB. The RAM is also small for the price. So as I said, it is a nice television, but there are too many technical limitations and the setup is nowhere near as straightforward as it ought to be. These seriously remove the enjoyment which would have been expected for a television in this category.I really do believe that the performance of the television would be much improved if Bluetooth speakers could be used in television (antenna) mode, and if the Android version could be updated from 11 to 14.UPDATE: Day 4 - The ON/OFF button on the waterproof remote no longer works. The red light blinks rapidly when it is pressed, but the television does not switch on or off, so this now has to be done manually.UPDATE 2: I contacted the seller at nearly midnight on a Friday and requested assistance in re-programming the remote or obtaining a replacement. On the Sunday morning, a Customer Service Representative, Winnie, replied, with apologies, and without any quibble, immediately said that she would request that a replacement be sent to me within 2 days. She sent me the tracking number in the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday and later the same day the replacement remote control arrived. It worked straight out of the box, so I did not need to worry about programming it to the television. I am absolutely impressed with the speed of response and the professional and courteous way in which my query was addressed. Absolutely excellent customer service.

Great Bathroom TV with Minor UI Lag
I recently got the Haocrown 15.6-Inch Bathroom TV, and overall, I’m very impressed with its performance and features.Pros:• Easy Installation: Setting up this TV was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and it fit perfectly into my bathroom wall.• Picture and Sound Quality: The Full HD 1080p resolution delivers a crisp picture, and the sound quality is surprisingly good for such a compact device.• Waterproof Design: The waterproof feature works as advertised—no worries about splashes or steam while using it in the bathroom. It feels sturdy and safe in damp environments.• Versatility: While it’s perfect for the bathroom, it’s also versatile enough to be used in a bedroom or other damp areas, thanks to its smart mirror design and sleek aesthetic.Cons:• UI Lag: The Android 11 interface can feel a bit sluggish at times. It’s not a dealbreaker, but navigating through apps and menus could definitely be smoother.Despite the minor lag, this TV has been a great addition to my bathroom. It’s functional, stylish, and delivers good performance where it counts. If you’re looking for a waterproof smart TV, this is a solid choice!
