Original Ford part for a 2012 Ford Focus SE - perfect
Original Ford part for a 2012 Ford Focus SE. The spark plugs looked identical to the original Ford spark plugs that were removed after 100,000 miles. I bought the set of four spark plugs needed for the engine and they arrived well protected in individual boxes inside a larger box for the set. The tips of the spark plugs were protected with a nice plastic sleeve.Interestingly though, I checked the gap on the new plugs and it varied amongst the four plugs. However, there is a caution on the spark plug box warning that the spark plug gap is not adjustable. Just out of curiosity, I checked the gap on the old plugs that I removed from the car and the gap varied on them as well. I'm guessing that the plugs are set at the factory to ensure the correct spark and it renders the practice of setting the gap unnecessary.I didn't adjust the gap.After installing on the car, I did notice an increase in power. I am happy with the plugs, especially because they are the original part that was designed for the car.

Proper gap from the factory for ‘14 Focus
I’m lazy and don’t want to gap my own spark plugs, so rather than spend a lot on fancy iridium plugs that I’d need to gap, I just went on Rockauto to find the spark plugs that come with the correct gap from the factory and ordered them here because it was cheaper with Prime.These are the same plugs that come OEM from the factory when the car was new, so if you’re going down a rabbit hole trying to find a suitable spark plug for your late model Ford, just relax and buy these.

Good plugs, same as stock for 2012 Focus
OEM replacement for my 2012 Focus SE. When it came time to get new plugs, I thought "hey, why not get some fancy iridium ones?" Then I looked up the stock ones and found out I had had iridium the whole time. These are nice plugs that last a long time. Mine came gapped correctly, but you should always (carefully!) check.
