I received this item at a discount for my honest review. First of all, I was impressed with the packaging of these Whiskey Rocks. They came in a nice box and the box was placed inside a very nice elegant case and I thought that it could be a nice gift for someone. I had never used rocks as liquor chilling before and I thought I can use these rocks for wine chilling and it worked much better than ice. With ice, the wine loses it flavors and become a bit watery when the ice melt. Unlike with this Rocks, the wine keeps its flavors and still cold. Great item and very nice packaging.

Got these stones this morning and, following the instructions, put them in the freezer for a few hours. I don't really drink whiskey so later on I put them in a glass of wine instead and, Hey, they worked! Really well!! The wine was chilled to perfection and I didn't get any kind of after taste from the stones at all. And, needless to say, no diluting of the drink from melting ice! I really like the packaging too, a little wooden box with brass hinges! I think this would make a great gift for the Holidays or really, any time of the year!!
