There is a large selection of these type of products on Amazon, and I would not be surprised if they are all made in the same place. I bought this set of lights primarily due to the claim that the plug is properly CE certified and compliant, especially having read that on other similar lights people have reported the plugs getting hot or not working well. So I'm pleased to say that after using it for a few days with the lights on for 10 hours each day, the plug only gets slightly warm (no more than a laptop charger would) and certainly does not feel as if there will be any problems with it.As for the efficacy of the lights themselves, then I have to say that I'm somewhat surprised. I was not necessarily convinced that they would produce much of an effect, but after only a few days our cacti and succulents are already looking much healthier, and the young ones in particular have shown a good deal of growth.

These LED grow lights have worked incredibly on some indoor plants on a shelving unit that doesn’t get too much light with new growth from stagnant plants within 48 hours of using! The timer feature is great and the remote control is invaluable allowing you to dim these lights. As an odd added bonus you get miniature gardening tools which may or may not be useful for something in the future 😂The only downside is the length of cable to the plug, HOWEVER, this is clearly stated in the listing and nothing an extension cable can fix.Oh and for any electric conscious people... this uses up about 3-5p of electric for a full day on!

This is a must if you are growing plants inside. I was sceptical at first but it really does make a difference. The chilli I planted is so much bigger because of this and germinated quicker than without it

It’s winter now and my plants desperately need light and warmth. This product has a lot of potential, the automatic timer is really convenient plus the “bendy octopus arms” is handy when you need to position the lights in different directions. In terms of brightness, it has 9 settings from dim to a max brightness. I tend to use just the mid setting as I think this is the perfect mix for my plants. The lamp emits a purple and blue hue which I find at times hurt my eyes when exposed to it for a time. As this is a LED lamp I wasn’t expecting it to give warmth and this was the case when it is in use. Overall, I’m quite happy with it and would keep using it as it serves its purpose.

I was a tad concerned at the quality of the item at the price. I purchased the lights to rescue some garden plants such is the indifferent summer. The lights are fantastic and of very good quality. They are easy to use and the added mini garden tools are pretty good too. The plants love 'em and so do I. Although the lights have a good use life I shall buy another unit as a 'just in case'.

Working really well, lots of new growth, happy plants. Really easy to set up & put the timer on.
