AthalonEverything Boot Bag/Backpack

We bought this for my daughter to carry her ski gear in on ski trips. This bag is huge. She can fit her boots, helmet, gloves, ski pants, coat, hand warmers, and still have room. The bottom has feet and drain holes on the boot sections. It seems well made and we used it all season, going at least 20 times. I'm getting one for me next!

I love this bag! The bag is really spacious and even when I have it packed full, the weight is distributed really well so it doesn't feel heavy at all. It has really nice cushion support on the back; it's extremely comfortable to wear. I love that the boots have their own separate compartments so you don't have to worry about getting snow/dirt/wet on the other stuff in your bag. I can fit my boots, my helmet AND my daughter's helmet, plus both of our mittens, goggles, hats, masks, etc. Then there is still room for a few additional pieces of clothing. The top has a zippered pocket on the outside and inside for smaller items that you want to keep handy. Plus there are little hooks throughout if you want to attached keys or something else for handy access. There are two pockets on the outside that I feel don't make a lot of sense. They are on each side of the boots. I was excited when I read about them, but when your boots are in there, it's really a very tight squeeze to put anything in those side pockets. You certainly can't put anything "hard" (like goggles), but you could squeeze something fabric in there. (Maybe face masks or something.) But there is so much space inside the bag that I don't feel like those outside side pockets are even necessary. I have seen reviews about the top handle breaking/tearing. I've only had mine for a week, but I will say the handle on the front (not the top) is extremely solid. So I might just avoid that top handle and use the front one for quick lifting. But mostly I'll be wearing it as a backpack anyway. This is a really great bag. I'm very happy with my decision and highly recommend it!

As someone who has always schlepped ski gear in tote bags, this bag is a dream! It is everything I wanted out of a ski bag and has a beautiful print to boot!How much gear does it hold? I wear a size 27.5 boot and they fit in the side pockets, no problem. In the main compartment, I can fit two extra pullovers, water bottle, small insulated lunch bag, a gallon ziplock of snacks (teenagers!), three pairs of gloves, helmet, goggles, and balaclavas. The small outer zip compartments are roomier than they look and hold snacks. The outer top zippered compartment holds sunglasses and my replacement goggle lenses. The bungee strap holds my bowtie ski strap once I get to the lodge.Convenient features: The handles are in perfect spots for picking up and moving the bag or hanging on the wall hooks at the lodge. There are three clips for keys that are very easy to get to inside each compartment. The plastic bottom appears very sturdy and shows no wear after three months skiing nearly every weekend. The drains have been great to provide ventilation, though I do open up the compartments when I get home to air things out thoroughly. It's always packed and ready to go which makes getting out the door each Saturday a breeze!Carrying: Even loaded with all that gear in it, it carries really well, you don't feel the weight and the padded straps are nicely curved. The back padding also helps make it comfortable to carry. Even carrying in one hand, it's not cumbersome and well balanced.I would absolutely buy this again and two friends have bought one after seeing mine!

I was pleasantly surprised that this bag carries my ski boots, gloves, pants, helmet, googles second layer fleece or puffy jacket, water bottle and a few snacks with ease.A very important feature is the strap that connects across the chest. This takes some of the weight off your shoulders. To put it in perspective for you, I have a hurt shoulder (may require surgery) and the design was able to distribute the weight across my back in a way the did not aggravate my shoulder.This is the first ski season that I’ve used the bag. Hopefully, it will last.

I honestly don't know why I didn't buy one of these sooner. This boot bag is perfect! I looked at several designs and this one fit my needs exactly. Everything I bring to the ski hill fits great with room to spare. It is so much easier to carry than my old system. I would highly recommend this product!

I purchased this after seeing it rated as a top ski boot bag in a skiing mag article. It delivers! It’s a lightweight bag (until you fillIt) and the backpack straps make it so easy to carry all of your gear and still have a free hand. I stowed my boots, helmet, googles, gloves, jacket, ski pants, and an extra change of clothes, wallet, keys and I still had some room in the crevasses of this bag!!!!

So many places to store all my ski gear! Like being able to store boots separate from other gear and the grommets for drainage under the boot section. Backpack features leaves arms frees to carry skis, poles, or other items but backpack straps can also be stowed away in zippered compartment. This was my 1st trip with my new bag but so far I have been impressed with performance and features.

I have two of these. The first one worked so well I ordered a second. I did have a problem after the first trip with the top strap ripping but I sent it back and they swapped it for another with out a problem. Great bag and great service.

impressed with quality of this ....better than most boot bags I've had /seen. It is larger than most with a number of separate pockets and can fit all of my ski gear in for a week' holiday as well as boots.

This is a quality boot bag with loads of storage space. All the gear shown in the photos easily fits in the Athalon bag with room to spare. We liked it so much, we bought another one for me! We're very happy with these purchases, see attached pictures to see how much fits inside.Nice feature: the backpack straps easily tuck away (easily hidden in zippered pocket for those who don't plan to carry it as a backpack).

This bag is as described. I bought it for my son but it would be plenty big for my husbands ski boots and helmet. But it’s not so big that my son (9) can’t carry it himself. The compartments are big and easy to access. Zippers, handles, backpack straps and outside nylon material are sturdy. Good drainage and ventilation holes. I needed a boot bag I could fly with and this fit the bill. The backpack straps zip away for travel. The compartments are large enough I think I will be able to stuff all my sons ski clothes into it and not need another bag for our ski trip. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is because I worry about the internal nylon material between the side boot and main compartment. I think it would have been better a tarp type material so I worry about its durabilit over time, but so far so good. I’m happy with the bag and the price. High end bags run upwards of $200 with no better features than this one.
