Easy to use not very painful. Use it on my daughter who was terrified to get it done. It was so easy she wants more holes in her ears.

The earrings did not work for us. It was cheap quality metal type earrings with plastic backing. After a month we ended up buying some quality earrings for our kids to change into. It was super easy to pierce though. But I'd be careful with the backs as well. My son's backing got stuck in his back earlobe and we had to use tweezers to get it out. It was awful but we left the earrings out for 2 days and the injury healed without closing up the piercing. We were able to put the earring back in no problem. Remember to disinfect everything before use and disinfect the piercing twice a day, and twist the earring around every day, for 6-8 weeks. Sally Hansen sells piercing earrings if you just want to get the gun here and get different earrings to pierce with.

Good for the initial piercing, the studs are the sharpest I’ve seen for a cheap ear piercing gun. But, they aren’t stainless still. You have to take them out within 24 hours of piercing and swap for good jewelry or you will get an infection. Obviously wait long enough it won’t close right away before putting new jewelry in, I’d say 12 hours earliest but 24 hours the latest. The studs included rust with the required cleaning and after care of the piercing. Do not pierce them leave these studs in expecting your piercing to heal. Other than that it is easy to use and easy to remove the gun after piercing as long as you pull the “hammer” back before trying to remove, then tilt down and out away from the piercing stud.

Bought this kit to peirce wifes ears. We used the piercing tool, alcohol to clean the area prior to shooting the stud in. Everything seemed fine, until 3 days later. Her ears began to swell, sewmed buised and the studs began tarnishing, which caused a blackish mark inside the peircing and around the studs. We are not happy, we had to remove the old studs and replace them with hypoallergenic, surgical steel earrings. The pain my wife had to indore was unreal. Be careful when buying when buying piercing kits!!

The media could not be loaded. Super excited. This is just like the ones they use at Claire's & Icing. Earrings that come with are strong and sharp! Simple to use. ****Note**** THE STUDS ARE NOT STAINLESS SURGICAL STEAL im pretty sure they are nickel. Works great for piercing but bad for the skin. I did mine & 6 other people's so far. We all found out the hard way. So, I recommend switching them out to a sterling silver or gold stud with in 24 hours of piercing.

Very easy to use, the back did get stuck on my boyfriend's ear but we just took the earring out and repierce the same hole. It was a quick and easy process and it did not hurt It was just a quick pinch, I used rubbing alcohol to clean all of the tools beforehand and I bought my own separate ear cleaning solution to keep it clean but the gun was all in all good quality and I would recommend 😌
