This is very pretty. It is substantial in size and weight. I haven't put it on a light yet but expect it to be pretty. I had been wanting this for a while and decided to purchase it now before the price goes up because of stupid tariffs.

Reccomended for moderately experienced persons.....Object has a very solid feel, and considerable heft. It is smooth and comfortable.Fits perfectly, measurements provided were fairly accurate.The bases edge could stand to be rounder for enhanced safety and ease of installation.A great addition to my personal eccentric objects collection.

Little smaller than I was hoping for but all-in-all it's fine. It looks good too. It's nice & heavy and the jelly fish looks good (purple). It's a light purple not a deep purple.

I like the heft and shape of it. The glass is clear and I can appreciate the effort of the person(s) who made it. Is it "great art and craftsmanship"? Not really, but definitely "not bad". As a paper weight, it is a bit heavy. As a decorative item is does not stand out. If you are using lasers, it reflects in interesting ways, just be careful and use safety glasses. I gifted this and have not heard back. I do not think anyone who was gifted this would not like it. It is solid and permanent, substantive and visible. I like it, but I gifted it. Perhaps you could buy one or two and see them for real. (I bought three). "See for real" reminded me that I wanted to recommend to Amazon to put things online as high resolution 3D images so people can see and appreciate this in different lighting. AND have absolute sized to know how large it is. All the images on Amazon should have the same type of absolute scale, Not rely on vendors who to it all different or not at all. I have lots of ideas for ways to improve Amazon and product sales on the Internet. Maybe one day in the far future it will be better than being in a store. I can even think of how to transmit the feelings and weight of things. LOL!
